I have had this Golf MK8 for several months. I am delighted 💟 , it is really comfortable and well built. It’s less flashy than the 7 in my opinion. It’s almost a premium car 👍. A very good choice !

so much negativity about the mark 8 i personally love it❤, i chose the life trim so i can get decent size wheels 16" comfort is my top priority and wont notice the lack of multilink suspension 👍regretted vuying sportier trims in golfs in past because of the ride quality, It certainly handled better than the mark 7

Im not sure about high powered petrol (and some diesel) SUVs. Driven a few makes and models and found the ride too firm as they usually have stiffer suspension and lower profile tyres. For me the letters SUV mean big comfortable car that you don't feel the bumps and crap road surfaces. Id rather have comfort instead of pointless 0-60 times. I don't care what anyone else drives or how fast their cars are, i'm not going to be racing them.
