Who stops the song three times during a solo.

Lots of rockers love this band as their #1 band. This band is always best heard from a live video. Okay, not almost always. Best work: Daydreaming, Domination, Hate, Play, Freedom and Manners with Black Hole. You are looking at a studio cut of an early work. These videos almost bury the musicians. These musicians are very well respected. Misa has her own signature Black Smoke bass. Kanami has her signature PRS. I could write a book on Band-Maid and their talent, 10 or so years ago I saw their first MV and knew they where going to be great, and they haven't put out a bad song yet and I doubt they ever will.

BANDMAID is the greatest proper rock and roll band of the 21st century IMHO. It's a crazy statement. Was Mozart the world's greatest composer of his era? He'll yeah! The farther we get away from that time the more clearly we see the immensity of his talent. Few would argue with the above assessment. Everytime I write "IMHO" after BandMaid is the greatest proper rock and roll band of the 21st century I feel like a liar. IMHO my ass! IMHO water is wet. BandMaid rules right now. 66 years old here. You don't like "stupid simple shit," what you like is "super catchy shit" where you can easily find a melody to latch on to and even sing or hum along to and that's what the maids do in spades. A lot of music that's super catchy is stupid simple because that's the easiest way to make something super catchy without messing it up. The Maids make increasingly intricate and complex stuff that is still super catchy with a very easy to follow melody; it's much much harder to pull off, but makes it extra special when they do and fortunately, that's what the Maids do best.

You might want to jump to a recent official release of songs that they didn't get to perform during their 10th Anniversary tour--what is referred to as the spin-off concerts. One song, "Honkai" , starts with just the bassist and drummer exchanging for almost two minutes. Their importance to the Band Maid sound isn't so obvious in the video you just reviewed.

You just heard the first song that they wrote that the label approved (10 years ago). They have progressed quite a bit since then. Check out Shambles MV or Hate Live. And then you will hear why this is the best current rock band on the planet !!!!

And a thing about the maid outfits, Jopo: as Fans and Maidiacs know, Miku -- the 2nd guitarist, lyricist, founder and who worked at a maid cafe -- wanted to show that everyday working "Kawaii" girls dressed as maids in high heels while having fun and smiling could rock as hard as any guy band sweating it up in their hip, poor tortured artists "outfits"... and by showing that contrast (the Gap), it would generate interest, which it so successfully has done! It also represents Woman Power (Equality), which is an important theme with the Maids. Now they show up as Maids for all band business and interviews, etc. and have created a long-lasting, unmistakable, visual band brand. Very cleaver, Miku. Your diabolical plan for world domination is working, Po! Of course, none of this would work if their music and stage performance wasn't at such a remarkably high level. i appreciate the fact that you find the MAIDS a likeable and talented band. but 4 pauses just in kanami's lead solo ? you definitely need to work on the pauses as it really messes with the flow of the song.

The thing about Band Maid is that you can’t hear one song and think you have any idea about them, or their music. There’s a decent chance the next song you listen to will be completely different from the first. They are extremely diverse genre-wise and, more recently, diverse even within a single song. That’s why most of us maidiacs say that their genre is “Band Maid”.
