@A_Redacted_B I really loved Harry's oboe solo too. I have a fondness for the oboe. I was also a huge Captain Planet Nerd when I was little and this episode reminds me so much of that show, with the whole "dumping toxic waste & killing the Indigenous population" thing.

i think that's not completely the case it create a subspace bubble deforming normal space which create the movement but subspace is part of normal space nevertheless in the bubble they shouldn't be loosing outer hull like in hurricane he bubble is creating "calm" environment the ship itself is theoretically not moving at all the stress forces should be focused on engines and pylons

It still puts strain on the hull we seee this here and in undiscovered country when sulu says to fly her apart and in enterprise it does create a bubble of calm but the ship is still in danger if pushed to hard and to fast we'll at warp I'll admit it doesn't make sense with how they explain warp at times in the various shows but their is precedent for it being damaging to the ship

@@aurelion9983 and what put stress on hull? o remember from episodes when they tinkering with shuttlecraft the problem was that engines were putting too much stress on pylons and tore themselves off

@@A_Redacted_B Yeah, there was a lot of "studio interference" in Voyager, like how it was supposed to be a series about a Star Fleet crew and a Maquis rebel group struggling to work together and survive the delta quadrant. Then producers (who greenlit the series with that premise in the first place) thought fans wouldn't like it, so the Maquis became an afterthought. Chakotay was made to become the second-in-command, rather a second captain that bumped heads with Jainway and pushed back against, or completely ignored Star Fleets rules and reg's.

@@A_Redacted_B They replaced Kess with 7 of 9 specifically because they wanted a hot woman to bring in viewers. and yes, its well known that Kate Mulgrew and Jeri Ryan (the actors) really didn't get along at first because Mulgrew felt they got rid of an interesting character in Kess just to bring in a "cyborg sex doll" replacement. Ryan won her over eventually by proving she had legit acting chops and wasn't just there to be eye candy.

@SoSezTheDude Yes those are the names! Thanks, I forgot. I thought they all did great. I like how each character got an episode or two that build them up. They each for a unique back story through the series and the audience grew to love them all over time (despite some of the oopsies and arguments behind the scenes).
