music theory nerd/decent composer
a calming piece. . .
The inspiration for this piece was from a game called Expedition in Roblox by @hyuno_ooo. Although just a short criticism .The writing just seemed like a vent rather than a story which made it feel uncompelling for anyone who can't relate to that sitatuation. Although I do love the idea so i did write this piece. And once again the pedals are broken . -_-

At the Point of Dissonance - very real original
I like the editing that you do here. I know it's minor, and you probably don't care much about how fast this channel will grow. But it shows how a little editing can go a very long way.
@@lootbox1157 the editing is from musescore and i actually don’t really put much effort into videos. It’s more of a showcase of my composition journey. Hence the low effort sheet music and the broken pedals 😂.
@@asacuslegios Even if that's true, I'm still glad that you're able to do that. I also like how you credit the source you're using in this video even if it is just from the tool you use.
@@asacuslegios I mention all of this because in your other videos, you had no editing and it kind of looked bad.. Again, I know that you probably don't care about how well your channel does but I just like this video a lot more then the others.
@@lootbox1157 thank you for the kind words. And I do always try to credit my sources and be as honest as I can with what i title my pieces. As I do not like the feeling of lying about it to just to get more views.
Very cool
Yah, cool.
@@tikobedrosian Thanks! And I’m still waiting for your next piece.
@@asacuslegios I actually just finished one!
I think the accompanying instruments do sound like they're from a Pokémon song but the main melody feels different.
Yea, pokemon’s music uses more interesting rhythms and bittersweet melodies. I also use a different system for developing melodies which is derived from classical and uses a LOT more repetition. They also seem to be heavily influenced by jazz especially the basslines.
Yes, and it's good.
it sure sounds like pokemon music
Pokémon or not, this is a very nice piece of music. It sounds so peaceful
This guy is such a pro
A cocumber
it's like discovery a new magic forrest!
A morning in autumn❤
Anything inspired you to make this melody?
The melody was spontaneously composed on the piano. So the answer is no.
Name:A warm heart
"waiting for the Answer"
Anyone else getting Your Lie in April vibes?
I have a very original name idea Prelude.
@@DomFileoreum You’re Funny
I'm new to music and I'm learning how to sight read. what are the weird bracket things that are below each bass bar line? they seem to coincide with each bar, but I'm not sure what they mean.
@@GenericHuman54 The sustain pedals aren’t supposed to overlap thats on me. The upside down v shape mimics the sustain pedal motion and signals the pianist to lift the pedal up or down. Heres a piece from deltarune which uses it musescore.com/user/34759039/scores/7017953
man this is such a pokemon track gg those guys are experts
Can i use it in my game?🙏
sure, I don't mind. give me the link to the game if you ever finish it.
@@asacuslegioswhat can i named it?
@@real_pq7ttn you're the developer and you should be the one to name it based on what you're trying to do. but for examples just look at the comments. All of them have pretty good titles
@@asacuslegios thank you
Empty Smiles
Lowkey reminds me of Gentle Rain from MOTHER 3
“Return Home”
I don’t know why but I could totally hear this in a Zelda game
resolution.
No, i like circles rather than lines
Play it!!! It's easy and sure u can improvise sth
👍
i can't think of a clever way to word it, but something along the lines of a forbidden love and wanting just a dance
Something related to the sea. Like Ocean's Serenade, Coastal Breeze, or Whispers of the Tide.
I do enjoy your use of fifths in this piece. It adds a lot of color.
Thank you! And dont forget the seventh.
Beautiful!❤
The Return Home
Thats a good one
sunlit meadow
it reminds me to the ocean or the sea, so u could name it with something related to that
Sea Breeze at Dawn
That was cool 🙌
@@Shortyy-he9xy 🔫 now subscribe to my channel
not sure what to name it, but it reminds me of someone with a heavy heart and yet an assuring smile
@@BlendyBoii “Tomorrow” makes a lot of sense because people like that are usually clinging to any hope they have for the future. And also the ending give me sun vibes
oh I like that like a warmer forecast
@@asacuslegios I felt "farewell old friend" vibes, kinda bittersweet. "Farewell on a Sunny Day" feels like it for me
Cool
indeed, the minor four chord is cool
@@asacuslegiosBro I didn't know I just made an unintentional reference to your past videos.
@@lootbox1157 debatable.
i would have a name suggestion, " autumn flow" it quite sounds like autumn, anyways i love it!!
autumn is quite surprising, because to me this sounds more like an ocean, but thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate it
Love the melody 👍🏻
you probably like it because its a melody from breath of the wild 💀💀
sounds great
@@vincentpham7716 Thanks!
This was pretty cool to listen to. I saw the atmosphere you were trying to convey. I imagined a frozen lake with a wide cavern in the middle of it. There was an old wooden bridge that connected the one side to the other, and on the other side was a magnificent castle made of ice. I was going through this area as I was listening. Great job.
Thank you!
