Bosphorus is known with producing 100% handcrafted cymbals from traditionally casted Turkish Bronze. Bosphorus has redefined the standarts in cymbal industry with revolutionary approaches and created legendary product lines such as Master Vintage Series, Black Pearl Series, Syncopation Series and 20th Anniversary Series just to name a few.
Bosphorus Cymbals Masters
In the outskirts of Istanbul, Bosphorus Cymbals operate a factory where drum cymbals are made by hand using traditional methods dating back to the Ottoman Empire. Bosphorus Cymbal's indisputable reputation precedes them and were even selected as the official cymbals for the film 'Whiplash'.
Not only does Bosphorus Cymbals create specialised bespoke hand crafted cymbals, but it is also home to a group of individuals of all ages and different backgrounds, working together, sharing problems and growing as individuals; striving through difficult times in their lives aspiring to become 'cymbal masters'.

Syncopation SW series 21" Ride

Syncopation series are available with two different finishes as “Regular Lathed” and “SW” which stands for Sand Wash finish. Both variants are excessively hammered which generates aggresive sound with complex overtones. Lathed finish offers more sustain while SW version focused stick definition. This demostration video is performed by Bosphorus Cymbals artist Jesús Gancedo García.

We learn this art literally from "inhaling the fumes of the factory"....Bosphorus you're better than this. I understand tradition but get this guy a N94. Each hammer stroke is him working towards a better life, just pay him more. Dude was 12 when he started working, WTF IS THIS??
