PLEASE don't follow his example of diving with snorkel in mouth!! This is very dangerous regards Shallow Water Blackout, for multiple reasons. FII and other professional free diving courses emphasize this point. You are wayyy more likely to die and quickly if you SWB with snorkel in mouth, direct path for water to lungs. Absent a snorkel, the unconcious diver will normally keep mouth closed. Also, a strong exhale on surfacing actually increases the change of SWB.
