Eagle Creek ORV 36 Review - A Great Bag for Traveling Construction Workers
I've always had bad luck with luggage. There aren't many bags catered to
traveling construction workers. My biggest problems have been where to pack dirty items like boots and breaking the wheels on the bottom of the bag. Most bags that are big enough for all my stuff are also heavy and tend to be overweight if I fill them up completely.
I finally found a good piece of luggage this year that helps solve most of
my issues. I’ve had an Eagle Creek backpack for years and now that I needed to get a new suitcase, I decided to try out one of theirs. I ended up purchasing the ORV 36 and it has been an exceptionally good bag. The reason I didn't buy one before is because they are expensive, but now ...

Road Life Ribeye

My eating habits have been evolving over the years and I’m constantly trying new delicious foods. I eat everything including fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, snails, blood, you name it. There are only three foods I find myself having serious cravings for though: larb goong, duck blood, and ribeye. Of the three, ribeye is the easiest to make and It’s a serious crowd pleaser. If you really want t...

West Virginia Mud, Bridge Building in No Man's Land

My Friends Adam and Cody have some property in WV they use as a camp ground. I love going out there for camping trips and riding four wheelers around on the trails. Recently, they started building a log bridge and asked if I would come out to help finish it up one weekend. It was a lot of fun building the bridge and afterward I took a little video of Cody and Adam trying to get across. I'm not ...
White Island Volcano, New Zealand
Просмотров 9005 лет назад
After working in New Zealand for two weeks, my girlfriend Whitney flew over and we spent a week exploring in an RV. We did a ton of amazing things, but taking a helicopter to White Island is definitely near the top of the list. It's an active volcano and used to be home to a sulfur mine that's now abandoned and rotting away. The island has a strong sulfur scent and the gases can sting your eyes...

Sometimes when your tired, but you don't want to go to a restaurant, the best thing to do is go to a grocery store and grab whatever sounds good for a salad. I do it all the time. This time I grabbed all the veggies I wanted and when I went to the meat department I n...
Salmon Fishing in Gold Beach Oregon

For years I drove over the bridge in Gold Beach Oregon during salmon fishing season and saw all the boats in the river fishing. I love fishing and grew up in Oregon, but never took the time to try fishing for salmon on the Rouge River. Road Workers' Guide to Seattle WA

It's been about a year since I started that road life. My good friend Garrett has helped me out since the beginning. In some of the first videos we did, we explored Buffalo NY. Working on the road brings unexpected experiences and opportunities to explore new areas of the world. One of my favorite things is being able to walk around on closed roads and interstates when there's no traffic. This time we had to close the entrance to Hanging Lake in Colorado. The lake is very popular and it's usually really hard to find parking there. We got off work early one day and had...

My friends Steve, Derek and I wandered around Portsmouth Ohio to see what we could see. It's a small town far from any interstates, but looks can be deceiving. Portsmouth has some cool sites, good beer and one of the best steaks I've had in a restaurant. This video only shows a portion of the fun things to do in this town. Hope you enjoy!

    I miss Elizabethton so much. What cave was that? I don't remember seeing it before. Its been almost 25 years but it sure didn't look like grindstaff. It kinda looked like a cave that I went in after hunting for it across farmers fields. Found a sink hole with a huge opening. A creek of similar size went through the mountain. It didn't have that much water though. Looks like it rained recently. The Watauga was fun to canoe and I trained for a raft guide on the Nolichucky. Did fine but didn't stick with it. The guy that ran the place was a prick.

      @@j.timberwolf Hey man, so for Squatch I would go Fresh Falls (Discontinued buy on eBay), Cedar Citrus, Nautical Sage, Deep Sea Goats Milk, and Eucalyptus Yogurt are all really good scents. You cannot buy these anywhere but on their site or on eBay. For Duke Cannon, Smells like Naval Supremecy, Midnight Swim, Buffalo Trace, Smells like Accomplishment is pretty good too. Bourbon is good but I wouldn't waste my time on the other scents. You can find limited scents like Buffalo Trace & Accomplishment at TJ Max or Marshall's but for the other scents u gotta snag at Target or Ulta. After smelling these, I dont think you would want any other scents. Good luck and enjoy ✌🏼

    You'll never really sleep at most airports thanks to: Ridiculously cold air conditioning in the tropics Lights (though a sleeping mask fixes this). The noise of janitors and cleaning machines and announcements. Earplugs help but not much. They don't come close to blocking noise. Why airports don't construct sleeping pods we could rent for so little is a mystery. Have a reasonably priced place to store valuables and a sleeping pod. So simple. People are exhausted when traveling. It makes sense. Then they arrive relatively rested and ready to enjoy their vacation. Otherwise it takes at least a day to recover from the day of travel That's just plain stupid. The answer may be to stealth camp outside near the airport after putting your valuables in storage at the airport.

    • @ThatRoadLife
      @ThatRoadLife 3 года назад

      Lucky for me I'm a hard sleeper. I've wondered the same thing about sleeping pods. It would be really nice if they had an alarm and slowly turned the lights back on so you don't miss your flight. Even a short power nap would be nice.

    • @RenM908
      @RenM908 2 года назад

      Munich airport had sleeping pods but the pricing was expensive. It was like $20 per hour. For a hotel room at the nearby hotel it was $140 for a night with free breakfast and you at least get your own bathroom and privacy which is what I ended up doing. The bus ride was like €2 to the hotel.
