The sound is a RUclips video of a hot rod being started up. I used it as background, holding my cell phone near my laptop as I recorded the sound. I thought it would be a cool soundtrack for the video.

Thanks Barry. I need to put together a run video with the smoke maker going. It's sweet! This is a 120a esc with a Castle 3800kv motor. The roof air scoop is functional too. It pipes air straight on to the esc for cooling while driving. Ram air. I only run this car on pavement or smooth gravel or grass. It's a pleasure to drive. No issues with the trans, even with the power increase. These are great cars for the price.

I don't know if you can tell in the pics, but I moved the body backwards about a half inch too. I thought it looked more scale this way. I also installed the 12mm hex conversion in the back, so I could change wheels. Plus, I didn't trust the stock system moving up to 3s. Any more ?'s, feel free to ask. 😁👍

I have enough supplies to make 100 or so parachutes. I have black and silver. $10 each, plus shipping, if you want some. The silver ones are sweet. I'm on facebook (RC No Prep Junkies). I can post some pics if you want.

I put some aluminum 15mm hex spacers to give it a wider stance and put Traxxas Slash wheels/tires, and Slash body on it. Mine came as a Ruckus, but I wanted a Torment. Dude in front of me got the last one, so I had to convert Ruckus to Torment.

@@Manguwu9895 I love this truck. It hauls ass with that 3s Castle sw3 in it. I had to cut some holes in the body to keep it from catching air. LOL. The metal diff and axles were absolutely necessary with this power too....

Thanks Dude! I haven't posted any videos in a while. She's almost done. Just finished the shifter linkage to the butterflies, and tail lights. Also made the leather ragtop. I also installed the speaker for the traxxas oba sound in the front grille. New video coming soon😁

Castle 3800kv 3s with 120a ESC. This car has a smoke maker installed too! I connected it to the stinger pipe I made. It uses e-cigarette oil to make smoke...... The Kyosho Beetle is awesome! All aluminum chassis is sick. tThis thing handles 3s power with no problem. I didn't even change the spur to metal. You'll notice that I drilled new body mount holes to move the body backwards. I thought stock, it was too far forwards. I bought the rear 12mm hex conversion so I could put better rims/tires on it too. The scoop on top is a functional ram-air pipe I made so that I don't have to run a esc fan. This thing runs quiet too. One of my favorite cars ever! It was one of the re-releases in 2014, I think. I made it out of balsa wood like the video shows.... Lightweight and easily replaced/repaired when it gets messed up!
