It's always been a dream of mine to lve abroad. For me, it's spiritually connected. I had a testifiable moment abroad and in the end, I realized there's just so many beautiful places God has created. Why not explore and discover paradise beyond the confines of where you are.

I will share this about me with you Ronnie: I'm in my early 60's. I was born into this "lifestyle". My highly educated (BA/MA), Black single mother got fed up with the U.S. in *1968,* during that particular period of "Civil Rights". She packed herself, and her only child (me) up, and we moved from Los Angeles to Recife, Brazil. I was in the 5th grade. It wasn't as spontaneous as that, as she planned it out and had a job setup as a counselor at the American school there. We lived on the Boa Viagem, across from the beach for almost 3 years. She made it a point to travel around that area, so we visited (by bus) areas North like Fortaleza, down to Bahia. We toured massive sugar cane plantations West of Recife. Traveled a small part of the Amazon by boat. She met a Portuguese gent, and then we moved to ... Portugal in late 1970. His job then took us to Kenya for a bit. I have 3 citizenships as a result of just that time. Ultimately we came back to the U.S. in time for me to go to High School. The short of it is I have been to 77 Countries and have lived in 4 for at least more than a year. Since about 15 years ago, we maintain residences in Johor Malaysia and Tangier Morocco, as well as our home in the U.S. All of this to illustrate my experience to ask you a question: You're young, and Assuming you have family in the States - perhaps parents - have you pondered what your plan will be if your aging family members in the States require care, if they are unable to care for themselves?

I’m from Australia and I think it’s important to move tbh. It gives you a fresh start! Europe is for me 100%, it’s less about your objects but more about quality of life. Your physical and mental health being healthy is more important than all the money in the world.

I can't wait to visit Thailand! I love Asian food, particularly Indian, Vietnamese and Thai food! 🤣

I book 2 separate trips with the intention of staying here! After the 1st trip where I stayed in a junior suite for around 30 dollars a night, i decided to cancel my next room booking, and booked another hotel! I remember seeing peoples vlogs about this hotel, but i believe they probably keep 1 room just for RUclipsrs to look around to give the impression that this that, that's what you're getting! I won't knock the place to much, as at a push if i was desperate and the price was right, id spend the night there! But given the choice of the vogue and somewhere like the March hotel, I'd be beating down the door of the March hotel to let me in! 😂

I moved to Jomtien, Thailand seven months ago, after two 2023 vacations to Hua Hin, Bangkok, Pattaya, and a little bit in Bangkok each time. I'll probably move to Hua Hin when my lease is up. It's quiet and traffic free, long beach. I've lost 16 pounds my last two months in Jomtien (only weighed 156 when I moved there). Good luck w/ the channel.

I locked into another item in the movie but that's because I saw a scene from an old TV series of the weird that reminded me of it. It's the part of Mahershala Ali (as George H. Washington) - where he's describing the three part plan a client of his told him that really scared him - about how to topple a country from the inside out. It reminded me of the classic black and white Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" aired on March 4, 1960 (Se 01, Ep 22) - specifically, the end scene - the conversation between the aliens as they're climbing back up into their flying saucer. Find it and watch it.
