How did you get this to start? I have the config in the right place and the config database says you have to press X to skip the intro but it still hangs indefinitely at the black screen and I'm at a loss for how I can get it to start.

Most Wanted and Carbon are locked to 30 FPS on Real PS2, but runs a lot faster on Pcsx2. If you set the EE clock rate to 100% (the original PS2 clock rate) and No VU Stealing, the internal FPS goes up to 60, but it needs a reasonable machine to run at 100% emulation speed.

It's kind of like that weird video game Streets of SimCity, which was basically like SimCopter but with cars instead of helicopters. SimCopter was good, Streets of Simcity wasn't (it was pretty bad). But I still kinda like it in retrospect :D
