Last Ride on My Yamaha XT250
Просмотров 5 тыс.4 года назад
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a video on RUclips, but I wanted to share my last ride on my amazing 2016 Yamaha XT 250. It’s been a great ride, but it’s time for something new. These are just some of my final thoughts of owning the XT. Hope you all enjoy.
Yamaha XT250 3 Year Owner Review
Просмотров 66 тыс.4 года назад
This is a video of my 2016 Yamaha XT250. I've bought this bike around December 2016 after trying to decide what my second bike would be (started out on a Honda CBR250R). This is my ownership review for anyone that's interested in this bike and wants to know how it's like to own one of these. The Yamaha XT250 is a great air cooled, 250cc, fuel injected dual sport that has a pretty decent seat he...
ISSUES!!! (1,000+ mile update) 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster
Просмотров 20 тыс.5 лет назад
Thanks for watching. I've had this Speedmaster since April of this year, and I figured I would give in an update for anyone interested in buying this bike. Right after my first service, I noticed an oil leak coming from a bolt underneath the bike, so I took it back to the dealership to get it fixed, which was about a month ago. I haven't had any issues since and I've been enjoying it since.
Exhaust Sounds and Overview of 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster

This is my first video showing you an overview of my 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster that I just picked up over a week ago. I am still getting used to the bike and I'm still currently breaking it in right now. I've been riding for about four years now and I've started on a Honda CBR 250R back in 2015. I only had that bike for less than a year and I ended up selling it. I then bought a 2016 ...

    Just bought a 2017. Last year with blue plastic and I can't find one instock new anywhere anyway. Love these bikes. Good replacement for my old Suzuki 450. I grew up on dirtbikes so these are really appealing to me. I don't want to ride on the highway anyway, only with a large pack and that's getting a little too planned and organized for me.

    I just got a 2021 XT250. The suspension felt so soft before I even took it off road I was looking into upgrading the suspension. I have now had multiple trips on very technical trails and the suspension is perfect. What I mean about that is: * It doesn't ever bottom out * Rebound is very fast * Suspension is very predictable - it responds to bumps and jumps and rocks and...the same way each time which really inspires some confidence The low seat height, solid torque, great gearing, makes this a bike you can take anywhere (except highways! :-) I see why they have such a cult following! Great video, thanks for sharing.

    • @Elohim100
      @Elohim100 Год назад

      Honestly that’s perfect for me. Highways are for the car/when you need to get somewhere just to get there. Backroads, dirt roads are where I take my bike for exploration and enjoying myself. Dual sport is the way to go.

      But it would be cool to have a DR650 as a second bike to go on the highway a bit. I have an XT250. I've done 70 and it'll do short runs on the highway. It would probably cruise at 55 without much issues for 50 miles.@@Elohim100

  • @ngzcaz
    @ngzcaz 2 года назад

    First, put on a skid plate if you ride where rocks are prevalent. Second, it's a bike for anyone who wants a dual sport that's reliable, inexpensive and has a low seat height. Don't waste money on $ 1K worth of suspension work, loud mufflers, or power commanders or the like. Mod it with stuff that makes it more useful to you whether it be street oriented or dirt. If you're 20 and have raging hormones this isn't your bike. For anyone else it could fit the bill nicely... Folks 5'8 and under will love this bike. Those nearing 6 foot and more I'd think twice. If riding in the dirt, a $ 20 14 tooth sprocket will do wonders for perceived power w/out losing too much on the street. If it's mainly street make sure it's 55 mph or under. Prolonged riding at 60 or higher wears thin quickly..

    Had the crf450l awesome bike for the street and mild off-roading but you do tight single track and the power will make it a chore and not fun at all sure it's the rider not the bike but 450s are just too much power for technical single track.

      The XT Yamaha's are a real pack Mule reliable easy to ride I have a 350 owned it for 19 years it is a 1995 model had to redo the carb and install a valve cover gasket plus chain and sprockets and new tires but I ride mine in remote areas and she always gets me home I will never sell my XT

      @@findingneutral thanks man my XT is still pretty mint condition I had a 1982 XT 200 it was my first bike and I used it on the farm moving irrigation water so it was worked daily ( never took it out jumping the hell out of it) but I rode on some pretty rough ground well like you said Yamaha XT's have more juice then other bikes even bigger cc then them. We also have a Honda XL 250 cc and it was a great bike nice center of balance reliable great bike but that XT 200cc would eat it alive on power and it had twice the miles on it then the Honda. I know a mechanic pretty good bike mechanic and he said if you change the oil every I am guessing 600 miles or so grease it clean the air filter and do not jump the hell out of it but ride it to get from point A to point B they will run 25,000 miles or more before needing a engine overhaul ( which is not a big deal) I know a guy who weighs at least 275 pounds him and his wife she is probably 130 both of them on it rode their XT 200 off road and like I said it is a pack mule now your XT 250 being a 2020 I am sure it is much better designed then the 1982-1990 XT's so it is plenty of Bike for what you want to do with it. check out luggage racks (manracks.com) is a site and others are out there and just make sure you are aware of weight when traveling Myself I do not load my down heavy but geared up taking a overnight trip I am guessing I have 250#+ on my bike that is with me being on it as well. Happy riding and those XT's are just getting more expensive. P.S many dirt bikes will "flame out" if you are in a sketchy area and need to be in first gear where as the XT will handle the low speed. like I said you want a workhorse not a race horse.
