so stupid that you have to adjust this. also when you updated a citation source from the mendeley app, these would not apply on that. So useless
Hi ma'am, In Micom Analysis i got mean and variance are not equal results is it Partial Invarinace? Which results i should use only Bootstrap results? why Can i use Parametric/weltch satterthwait test too ? if we can use why ? or if not why?
@@chandrakala4652 yes You will conduct partial multi group analysis Compare path coefficient sizes for the groups
@@chandrakala4652 according to Hair et al book Advanced issues in PLS SEM. You can only compare bootstrap results the last option in path coefficients
@@educationalinsightskarachi4969 thank you ma'am
@@educationalinsightskarachi4969 thank you ma'am
@@educationalinsightskarachi4969can we compare instead of path coefficients size , considering Bootstrap results p values ?
Thanks,! All in 1min. No bs or time wasting. Really appreciate it!
Thank you for the information. I have two questions first how can I report this result in my article and second is there a reference for it?
Hello, What it means if p-value not zero
Data does not have multivariate skewness/kurtosis
thanks for this
Checking the Convergent and Discriminant validity through Correlation matrix is for the initial stage only right ? How do you differentiate this method through, Average Variants extracted through factor analysis and the Composite Reliability method ? Or through CFA method ?
Definitely this will be an initial analysis. We should calculate AVE or assess data for FL condition too. You may visit this video on link below. ruclips.net/video/-sHrebIWxBU/видео.htmlsi=3GhzNUKh3wUzXu7g
The best explanation for this topic i have come across till now.
Thank you so much
can we compare the indirect and total effect or just the path coefficients?
You can compare each and every element of the model
Once, we update the model, how to run the model again with the updated data.
You will have to run the tests again
Can you share your email address? i have a quick question
Hello
Ma'am, in my variable choosing dialog box no unique value is showing up for gender. Also on running permutation multi group analysis it is giving singular matrix problem. How to resolve these ?
please how do i contact you via email???
You may please contact through email. saima.munawar.1978@gmail.com
Thank you for useful guide on the issue. I have a problem, "Latent variable is not connected to other latent variable" is causing no result. How can I fix the issue? Please reply me.
You will have to connect it with at least one variable in the model
Thank you so much should all items be correlated at a significant level? Or is it ok if some items do not fulfil this condition?
Generally speaking, all constructs should correlate
However, there can be exceptions. Independent variables might not correlate. Moderator might not correlate with independent variables.
is MGA a licence-only feature? I only have PLS SEM algorithm and Bootstrapping as calculation options
It's available in 30 day trial.
Thank you soooooo much❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
maam if we get negative results then what can we do to correct them?
Hey ma'am Need your email address please to discuss my methodology
Dear madam, if 2 variables in MICOM Step 2, p values are significant, can I proceed with step 3?
You can... In this case you will compare the significance of the paths in two groups. This called partial MGA
@@educationalinsightskarachi4969 thank u madam! Partial MGA like the one you showed in this video right? Your reference would be advanced issues in PLS SEM by Hair et al?
Yes... That's the reference
Sorry madam the I couldn't access the ebook version advanced issues in PLS SEM by Hair et al, where can I find articles that support the partial invariance in step 2 - compositional invariance? @@educationalinsightskarachi4969
Thank you for your kindness but I really need your advise , In my data, the results of Bootstrapping results shown that a few relationships are different between two groups but I used the results of Bootstrap MGA which are any significance different between all variances of the two groups I am curious that which results should I use?? A few other researches suggest both of the results, and it makes me confused I want to know the manual on when to use the Bootstrapping method and when to use the Bootstrap MGA method, and the case of above researches, how would you discuss of those different results? Because I don't understand that how can we claim difference between the groups even if there was non significant difference results from Bootstrap MGA It's been a while since you posted this video, but I'd really appreciate it if you could answer
Thank you so much for your query. It depends on micom results. If mean and variance of the two groups are not same, we compare the significance of the path coefficients. However, if the means and variance are same, we just look at the significance of the difference.
@educationalinsightskarachi4969 if all mean and variance are same, how could the coefficients of the two groups be different? I saw that if all same, data can be pooled
could you introduce me any research explaining the reason using the method?? cause I should study about it, and have to explain my adviser , , I should convince him so I need reference aritlce, please thank you @@educationalinsightskarachi4969

Such a helpful video mam. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thanks for your kind words
presenting skills are awesome. i must appreciate your techniques. how you are making our understanding by giving examples.👍
Mam...thank you for your video. I'm following it step by step. But when I started calculating, I encountered singular matrix problem. Before I generate the moderating variables, I have no problem in calculating the result. But now I have this singular matrix problem. Can you help me, please??? Thanks in advance
Singular matrix warning shows that your data has some problem
Probably, response to two variables in the data are identical
Thanks a lot
if we have two numbers in row of rotated compnent matrix, which of these numbers should place in firs column?
Assalamualaikum mam ! How we reverse code our items in smart pls 4
you will have to reverse code the data in an excel sheet which can be later uploaded on SmartPLS
Is there any kind of article in which this method is applied that you can point to?
Mam you when you imported the data, there was a indication at the bottom saying 9 values are missing. What does that mean and why is it showing?
I watched the video. It is a promo link in the software offe4ing to show how missing values can be treated.
great lecture
If the HTMT value rather than. 85 what can i do to change this value??? I wanna published
Hi Dr Thank you for the video. My model developed is a reflective third-order construct - for the independent variable. e.g: IV --> constructs --> sub-constructs --> indicators Currently, the IV, constructs and sub-constructs are in red, except the indicators are all blue. To calculate using Latent Variable Score; 1. Do I need to include all indicators in the respective constructs and sub-constructs as well to turn it blue? Since there is an error in the model, it shows the path invalid. 2. Or by right, the constructs and sub-constructs should be blue already although I don't put all the indicators in IV and subsconstructs? TQ
Can you please send the model pictures on Saima.munawar.1978@gmail.com
Best and simplified explanation l have watched so far. Thank you 😊
I am humbled by your kind word

Is the validity also affected by the size of sample? I use the sample size of 30 and it shows less correlation among several indicators in some variables.
It is slightly improved. But it is mainly affected by wording of questions
Thank you so much. That’s really informative! I am interested to use this technique to calculate the convergen and discriminate validity of within the same assessment A. My question is that ok to do that or I have to the compare and calculate convergent validity to assessment B and compare the discriminante validity to assessment C.
Hello, I did the factor analysis and for the rotated component matrix I got variables without any component value, some variables with more than one component value and also variables with a negative component value. Is it still possible to test for discriminant validity and how can I continue?
Negative component loadings occur when a variable is inversely related to a factor or component. While they can be somewhat counterintuitive, they are not uncommon in factor analysis. Negative loadings suggest that the variable is conceptually opposite to the direction of the factor it loads on. Please also check if these items need reverse coding.
@educationalinsightskarachi4969 thank you for your answer! Is it still possible to test for discriminant validity with negative loadings or is it only possible with positive loadings?
Hello, thank you for the explanation. I wanna ask, what if I face partial measurement invariance, should I still show the result of Henseler's MGA or the bootstrapping results is enough? thank you!
Only bootstrapping results comparing group 1 and group 2 coefficients and significance

ma, if a latent variable among others have the following: cronbach Alpha = 0.655, Rho_a = 0.662, Rho_c = 0.813 & AVE = 0.593; can i proceed with my analysis owing to the fact that cronbach Alpha and Rho_a are less than 0.7 and are showing red in SmartPLS 4.
For pls we look at rho c and AVE only
Mam my 5th objective in my thesis is gender as moderator I have achieved 4 objectives but i am bit confused mam do i have to perform MGA on full model I mean do i have to check measurement models reliablity ave htmt and other things also while running this mga or itz just one step which you show in model Becoz i have 4 objectives also on impact When I put gender what will happen to my model and values will there be any change
If your moderation objective is only related to one path, you may just use an interactive tem to assess moderation. However, if you aim to the effect of gender differences on the whole model, you can conduct MGA.
You only neee to perform MICOM before MGA.
Mam can we show data linearity through qq plots is it correct way to show linearity through qq plots
Qq plot of residuals is used to check normality. You can assess normality using 2 steps 1. Run regression as all independent variables as usual 2. Run regression with independent variables and square of them If difference in adj. R sq is insignificant, linearity is established.
Excellent video. With respect: Never expected any good video from Karachi, Pakistan. May be as an Indian I had a bias. Big thanks.
