One of my favorite pickers….
So glad to see this again. Brilliant pickin' behind great singing. You can see Johnny Jackson expects no less than the guitar work from the likes of you! Miss some of the older videos you posted but glad I saw them when they were up! Do you still have Mountain Guitar with you showing the crosspicking on it? (or maybe you have a way to sign up for lessons? I was planning to go back and work on that. I would be happy to pay for the lesson) Still, I'm happy you posted the newer recording of it 🥰
@@liddlebirdie I appreciate such kind words….I’m planning on re-doing a lot of instructional videos I had…..Technology has improved since I posted them years ago, so keep an eye out.

😊
Hardest working band, BOC⚔️
Absolutely fantastic 💯
Thank you James!
Looking 4ward 2 seeing them Nov. 2024. First time. Also Kim dracula. FayetteNAM, NC.
Great video....Sweet Concert !! Thank you for posting it ! Rock on...Blue Oyster Cult ✝️
I thought I was at the current Iron Maiden tour show
With the opening
BOC with RUSH was the FIRST CONCERT I EVER WENT TO, almost 50 years ago !! I subsequently saw both of those bands for the Rest of my Life. I sure have seen some Incredible Bands since then too. If they ROCKED, I SAW THEM !! Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Robin Trower, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Talking Heads, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Molly Hatchet, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, The Firm, Guns n Roses, Alice Cooper, Alice in Chains, STP ……. and a million others too !! ROCK ‘n ROLL is never gonna die while I’m still around ……….
AMAZING!!! 😎🤘
Wow what a letdown. I worked for these guys many decades ago. They were much better than this.
Not for nothing bro, but I’m gonna Bet you don’t have the same energy You did 50 years ago either. Plus, this audience isn’t helping much either …….. at all. At least they can still KICK OUT THE JAMS !!
Eric Bloom is freaking 80 years old, give them a break, I saw them about a year ago, they still deliver
Don't forget that you are listening to someone's smartphone recording miles away from the stage, and the sound is almost never that good, whoevers playing.
Thank you for sharing! very nice recording.
Same Blade Runner opening as Iron Maiden's tour
...they need to quit the intro...if they want a rock show that intro is a snooze fest...BRING BACK THE ON YOUR FEET OR YOUR KNEES SPOKEN INTROS FROM THE '70's and '80s... !!!!!!!!BLUE OYSTER CULT RULES!! ALSO, KOMEINI IS DEAD, BUT WE HAVE OTHER ENEMIES, BRING BACK "DIVINE WIND"!!!
The Tommy DeCarlo/Boston set right before this was fabulous!!! It was really a great show!!
History shows again and again... 😊
For loud, old school rock bands like BÖC - they don't need tons of bulky stage gear anymore - so on a big stage like this - it looks kind of naked. I'm so old - I remember shows back in the 70's - before they suspended the PA system above the stage - in big arenas & stadiums they'd just stack up the cabinets on either side of the stage - talk about a wall of sound - I'm kind of lucky not to be deaf ..
