    I love the interviewer! I feel a closeness to her for some reason. Thank you for having a place for women to go who need it. My first husband was abusive and while he was in jail for that I escaped. I am now a Registered Nurse, I work in the ER, and I have a beautiful husband and a 6 year old and a 3 year old. Women can move on and get a wonderful life after trauma.

    I certainly get what all these commenters are seeing. Even our beloved Oprah stepped all over Eckhart Tolle. I'm sure it was unintentional, but to me it came off as presumptuous and a little pompous. It takes away from the rich message these Experiencers have to offer us.....the example that comes to my mind is from my high school volleyball days. The rule is "set the ball up and get out of the way."...Good advice.

    The interviewer playing with pretty close to a full deck of emotions .....and Mrs Sherman, well, obviously just a few emotions, typical of academics or intellectuals. It'd probably be more interesting that the interviewer had an NDE and Mrs Sherman was interviewing her about it. If nothing else, it's quite obvious that God has a sense of humor.

    All of America knows his name now as of March 28th 2017. He confronted the ICE Director and told him he was on the wrong side of history, straight up. He is an exemplary human overall, and knows what America is all about. I would love to have a conversation with him!

    • @RichKing12
      @RichKing12 7 лет назад

      How was the ICE Director on the wrong side of history? Was Mr. Marks in Poland illegally? No, Mr. Marks was born in Poland. He and others were targeted because the Nazi thought they were inferior. I don't see any similarities at all with Trump/Ice Director using the laws passed by congress to send illegal immigrants back to their country. Have they made mistakes? I'm sure because people with agendas will highlight those mistakes in the news. I have been told (I haven't checked the facts yet) that Obama has deported millions during his 8 years in office. Where is the outrage? Why are the people who dislike bullying others like to bully the Trump Administration!

    Carpathian is simply amazing. I'm 27 years old and in the late 90s and early 2000s he would be at Six Flags America during Fright fest just outside of D.C. in Maryland. everybody in the entire park would be drawn to him, little kids weren't so scared of him because of his soothing voice. his story telling truly needs to be witnessed in person. I can't believe after all these years a simple Google search brings me to him still in character. Bravo

    why does she only have this center for women why do people always pity women but dont give a fuck about men.

    • @Bellawhite1
      @Bellawhite1 8 лет назад

      Anton, if you look at crime statistics you will see that women are much more physically, mentally, and sexually abused than men and children put together in this country. Women are more likely to contract HIV and STD's due to forced sex. Also the rates of PTSD, noncommunicable diseases such as hypertension, cancer and cardiovascular diseases are quickly rising among women. There are other reason why women should be considered at risk. I don't think women want "pity" as you put it; I think they want to be safe and live a good life like everyone else. I know Diane personally, and she does care about men. I know has spent time working with men and has good relationships with mens. Take care.

    • @Eli1993.
      @Eli1993. 8 лет назад

      so your answer to my question why theres mostly retreats only for women is basically because statistically wise women are more abused and more likely to contract std's ? i don't know who does the counting but you may be right. but abuse comes in all kinds it can be physical abuse,verbal abuse,sexual abuse etc . abuse can come from your parents,from your friends, from your spouse, from your neighbour,coworker anyone can abuse you in some way , men can be abused by other men and i think that in itself severely increases the percentages of the amount of men who get abused up to the point that i would say that both men and women equally experience abuse. then you talk about disorders and diseases in women i don't know why you even go there because men get those diseases and disorders too. but it's completely out of the subject. we were talking about abuse and my observation of retreats for abuse sufferers are mainly and mostly focused on women. i don't like it, it's sexism . even though it's a good thing that these women are getting help i think it's very sexist and feminist to only want to help women , so if a man wants to get help they are like no , just because you are a man ,you are a monster and you can't come in here . and not to mention there are loads of women who lie about abuse in relationships because they know they have the power . people always are gonna believe the female , men are always gonna be looked at as monsters. when a man talks about being raped by a woman he gets laughed at. in my observation just because women are feminine it instantaneously means they are kind and gentle,innocent and good so people are always gonna take their side . women are always right and men are always wrong . men are givers women are recievers. so when a man and a woman get in a debate or a conflict the man is always the attacker and the women are always defenders , just because the man is physically stronger . that means that women are always the victims right ? women just like men can be manipulative and abusive. i know that from my own experience and from hearing stories and reading stories from others. this needs a balance. women and men need to be looked at as equals and that is not what feminism is about, feminism is about making women superior to men. i don't want anybody to be inferior or superior , i just want equality . and if there's one thing i want to change about this world, it's discrimination. we need to unify and come together and be at peace with each other and embrace the divinity within ourselves and each other. and that's the only message i'm trying to come across here , i apologize if that bothers you. thank you for your reply, take care.

      I just typed you a very long comment back to your response. It got erased and I am too drained to retype it right now. Just wanted to let you know that it was positive and abuse exist in every form. THIS storyteller "Carpathian" has a youtube channel where on he has three stories that he tells that are posted. I believe his youtube channel is "Carpathian's Tomb" I enjoy Carpathian's storytelling style. He has a soft, gentle nature and hand gestures and he talks smoothly. Actually, reminds me of the late actor Roddy McDowall in the way that he would talk.

    Eric Hollenbeck is someone I would love to meet and talk with, I enjoyed this episode so much, hearing about how he (and other members of his team, of course) dealt with all of the problems that they came across while working on the replica of the Lincoln Hearse. I'd love to see the finished project for real, I've seen the pics of it on Blue Oxwebsite and it looks amazing. It surely be a sight to behold to say that they completed it with such little information to go on apart from one picture and one piece of information as to the dimension of the rear wheels....That is Problem Solving at it's best if ever I heard. A very informative and entertaining episode. Thanks, Belinda

    Carpathian is very interesting, I'd love to see more of him and hear his stories in full. As my name here says, I'm a goth so the Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft stories are appealing to me of course. Belinda, is there any chance that a full story or 2 from Carpathian could be filmed and uploaded here....Please, Pretty Please, Pretty Pretty Please?????????

    This was a great day, we set off so early didn't we and arrived there at about 05.30 or thereabouts and already there were so many people there before us. The drumming they were doing on the walk from the car park to the stones was great and that really felt very inspiring and uplifting to me. Being inside the ring was awe inspiring, it was an honour to be there and people should remember that and always be respectful towards the stones upkeep and not to damage them - There was a report in one of the news papers from this years Summer Solstice about all of the litter that got left behind by "Normal" people and that it was the Hippies & "Tree Huggers who stayed behind to clean up after them - So really, no change there then. Great video of Great Memories of a Great Day. Great video Belinda, as always

    Mr. Hollenbeck did this interview while sick; he had been working diligently on the Lincoln Coach to meet a deadline and wore himself down in the process; however, he did not fail to disappoint the many people that turned out to see the coach at the Blue Ox Mill Works or the viewers of "Out Here in the Redwoods." "The project has meant sleepless nights for Hollenbeck as he strived to take the only known photograph of the hearse and get all the details just right - down to every last molded diamond on the bejeweled vehicle." Juniper Rose, The Times-Standard.
