This cannot possibly be "one of the best short films of all time". This is at best a funny little clip designed to make you think but not really designed to say anything. It's like the writer/director just asked "what if death was just like us?" and that's it. It's not unique or insightful, just an idea that never got fleshed out. (Side note, it's also annoying that death is assumed to basically be a straight man and not gender neutral/non-binary. The most replayed scene is the one where he's peeping to see tits for f*ck's sake.)

Very well done and fascinating film. The contrast could not be more stark between the way Death is represented in this film and the way our culture views it- as the terrible, terrifying Grim Reaper. in its delightfully quirky way, the film tells us that death ought not to be feared. It is part of the cycle of life. And that we can be as kind and loving to the those who have passed on as we are to the living.
