Добавлен 13 мар 2017
The Nebraska Broadcasters Association was formed in 1934, with the purposes of advancing the best interests of the free, local, over-the-air, full service radio and television broadcast industry in the State of Nebraska, and in that regard to:
- Optimize the business and regulatory environment in which the broadcast industry operates on state, regional and federal levels
- Advance the state of the art of broadcasting
- Increase respect for and the credibility of broadcasting
- Help each broadcast station to better serve the public interest
- Otherwise engage in activities and other undertakings, including but not limited to Noncommercial Sustaining Announcement Programs (NCSA), which serve those purposes.

rest in peace, my friend.
Walt Kavanagh died 26 years ago today, on April 10, 1998. He was my dad and I miss him.
I have to add….she was Kalamity Kate! When we were kids we lived to see Kalamity Kate.
Leta Powell drake needs some love. She was funny, quirky and gave a lot to Nebraska. She was great.
Speaking of the real Dent, Van DeVeer, you know, they guy who gave you and all his grandkids land that wasnt supposed to be sold. Well you sold it for what.... $400 an acre? The piece right across the fence just sold for 13K an acre this spring. There were how many grands? There were a dozen or more pieces of ground. just imagine if you had just kept the land like "DENT" wanted, you would be worth 2 million, and if the family had kept it all you'd be talking tens of millions of value. But that 300k radio station is a real accomplishment. Probably why the real DENT left a legacy for his entire family for the future generations. Not one for you to steal his name and for you and your sisters to blow it all.......
Your name isn't even Dent, its a disservice to the real Dent, who was a great man. Stealing someone's name and calling it your own doesn't make you great. Create your own legacy with your own name. That would be an accomplishment.
The famous uncle dave! The man who says all us Brauns need counseling because his sister is a perfect mother and wife. I guess he doesnt want to hear anything about her adultery, drinking, dancing or how she neglected her oldest son to suffer a diabetic death. Not to mention how the woman disowned me, sued me and evicted me from my childhood home, all documented I might add, but dont worry dave, after years of abuse and neglect I was able to find myself ;) Its sad you couldnt at least listen to me as a child suffering abuse. Shoving a child back to their abuser is NEVER the answer.
Wow his head really is huge.

DONNIE WAS THE ONLY FUNNY ONE...
I've got to say I usually supported the Nebraska state legislature. Had a little trouble with lynch.
She does but I should have been more careful. Conservative . Google people have got to be laughing at all my comments
I remember one night toward the end of his Newcastle Mal had an interview with Dan lynch the Nebraska state senator. And I told my mother I hated lynch and walked into the bathroom. When I came out my mother said lynch had rudely contradicted Mel and you could tell by his look Mel didn't seem to like him either. Mel made my day.
I be lived in tenn my parents passed and I just want to hear one more time and so as we began. Good evening everyone. I know I'm a nutcase.
I liked the way Mel talked about how Deb doing the news helped him do the news. Helped him collect his thoughts. Well compare that with Harry reasoner's attitude toward Barbara walters. We Nebraskans didn't realize how lucky we were to have a newsman like Mel. I sure miss him and Joe Kinney. I've lived in tenn a long time and I miss nebraska
Thank you guys for all the years of wonderful entertainment. Many times you bought smiles to people's faces when they had nothing else to smile about thank you so much you mean a lot to a lot of people.
I love these guys definitely deserve the Nebraska broadcasting HOF award
Wish i still lived in nebraska. She looks pretty good.
Great show, just stay out of politics
Best radio show in the morning period. I listen everyday since I was stationed in omaha in 02. Hell, I listen to the podcast when driving or even sitting in my hotel when I go home to Chicago. Love these guys
Regrettable interview...Weird Al Yankovic!! Tyler asking him about his parents, not knowing they died tragically.
I see u came from the Lewis black stream like myself lol.
Todd and Tyler succck not funny at all
At 8:48 when the classic KFAB jingle starts and Walt goes on the air..... 🥲 Thanks for sharing this!
thats my Dad, and Im very proud of him and love him like crazy! Miss you Dad! love Jeannie
Beloved Mel Mains. Besides being a great newscaster, he's the reason I got to stay up a little bit longer. What a thrill it was to see him out and about in real life! (Nice, brief glimpse at the young Bob Kerry, Sen. Richard Marvel and was that an appearance on the set of Calamity Kate?)
I love these guys, I found them 7 years ago on a streaming radio app and have listened every week since
I met these guys at a 2006 Z-92 Hosted BBQ Party in Omaha. Bought a T-shirt, signed it, got to talk to them together with my father and my brother by my side. I will never ever forget that. Love you Todd n' Tyler, hope to visit you soon in the studio!!
Guys... You have interns you have kids it's called evolution!!!! Take advantage of the millennials it's fuckin Omaha!
They definitely are liberals and hate America
Communist racist clown radio show
I Live in North Central Kansas, I grew up watching Mel Mains Deb Collins and Ken Siemek with weather..
I'm a fan from Minnesota, these fellas are legitimate, great radio broadcasters!! Fun, great show!! #tntradioempire
They suck
They sick
One of the best of all time. Listened to him as I got ready for school in the 60's and 70's.
Tyler is the mic hog. Could be called the Tyler and friends show. Wish he'd shut up . But that aint gonna happen.
I agree. He’s kind of a douche too. Always bashing Todd for his hobbies and activities. Always bashing every movie that’s not a drama of some sort. Hell even bashes the guys for going to the gym and what does he do? Watch football SMH. I love the show but I wish Tyler would turn it down a notch.
I like Tyler, the only time he gets annoying for me is when he goes and gets triggered by politics and starts the personal attacks on voters.
Dale, what an amazing career you have had. Way to go fellow Holdrege High school classmate!!
Came here from twitter!
The Douchebag and Dementia show. For 4 hours Tyler is suffering from Orange man bad syndrome,. Tod is crying about how scared he is of the kung flu, he goes home and gets in the fetal position pissing and shitting himself hoping it dont get him since he's at high risk being 65. The big party show blows them away
ruclips.net/video/iWVJzgTHvus/видео.html at 2 minutes 18 seconds there's a Todd and Tyler spot from 1995
9:31Petey Mac is with us. And then they fired him before the holiday break.
As they needed to
@@rhyanbrandt3807 Not a sports guy. Didnt like his segment, but the lack of acknowledgement is what I dislike.
from what i understand, after he quit drinking he turned into an asshole, and you are correct his lack of acknowledgment
The final show of last year didn't mention anything about Petey not being on the show this year. Whatever happened must have occurred during the holidays. But the guys never see each other when they're on vacation, so what could have happened? I'm thinking it had something to do with not really needing a sports guy since TnT talk enough sports as it is. But back when BW got fired, TnT at least mentioned it the next day. They could have given Petey a quick mention as to his disappearance. They just acted like he never existed.
@@rhyanbrandt3807 are you THE Rhyan Brandt?
Wait, I didn't catch it - where's Mike from?
Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania
@@rhyanbrandt3807 So he's from Pennsylvania? All these years listening to the show, I never realized that...
Tyler always mentions he's from Pennsylvania. Quite often, actually. Almost TOO often.
I don't think he's mentioned where he's from.
These guys sound pretty cool, think I'll become a full time listener!
I always enjoyed listening to him as i drove through Holt County. I will miss his voice.
Mel Mains was in our home every night. I grew up watching him broadcast the evening news. He was a trusted source of news and information for our family.
A gentleman, and a gentle man -- if you knew Lloyd for 10 minutes, you were 10 minutes better a person for it. RIP old friend & colleague.
my parents always had 10/11 on when Mel Mains was on. he was like the Paul Harvey of local news.
Great Video and Congrats!
I am proud to say this man deserves this award...I worked for Craig in Nebraska for 5 years and learned a great deal about advertising and the broadcast industry! Congratulations, Craig! Norma Rizer
