Really good plateau aside from the time loss on mag. Endgame was very solid, but definitely not perfect because I needed the razorshroom, lost some time on waterblight, among other small mistakes. Not done yet, I want to grind for a low 23.

The fourth sub 24! Not what I expected from this run because of the very sloppy early game but overall a solid run nonetheless. I've been interested in grinding All Dungeons for a while now, and this seems like a fitting time to take a break from Any%.

I haven't PB'ed in a while so it feels good to end a cold streak. I'd say that sub 24 is definitely within reach for me at this point looking at how I've had a pace 21 seconds ahead of this one after Castle.

Unfortunately this run can't be submitted to the leaderboards because I forgot to show version number, but if it could be submitted, it would be the fastest time. Because of this, I do not consider this run "World Record" and I think that if someone beats the top time on the leaderboard but doesn't beat this time then they would still have the World Record. The main differences between the v1.0...

Probably my first run that doesn't have a whole lot of obvious time save but there is definitely a little bit in Castle. Definitely going to keep grinding this category for a 23 at the very least.

My first PB since switching to BotW, and it was not a small one. Made a ton of mistakes and I'm not doing all the fastest strats yet so I look forward to grinding this game way further and I think that a 25 is super doable for me right now.

Finally got the sub 40! Super solid run with pretty average RNG and a clutch ending. This time can definitely be improved a little bit further but I am going to leave it at this for now. I'm going to do a huge BotW grind now, so expect to see some top BotW times in not too long.

I've been grinding No Amiibo on the side for a little while. Got the sub 41 so I'm happy, but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.

I had a chance of sub 40 going into Demon Dragon in this run but it died when Zelda trolled me and put me in the wrong spot. Overall pretty decent but also had bad RNG so I'm excited to keep on improving this time until it gets under 40 minutes.

I legit think ot should have cut to credits when you grab Zelda’s arms and you see the flash of light
I like how when Zelda turns up Demon Dragon just waits for you to pull the Master Sword before fighting you
I've just finished TOTK after more than 110 hours of play over a period of just over 1 year, and the first thing I'm doing after that, because I've been holding back all this time to avoid spoiling myself! It's to come and watch the WR in any%! GG! It's really impressive this level of play!

This run is Moldy excellent
Finally came back to watch this run. I a the game for a little bit so I know how hard this is. This run is fucking absurd. To complete this run with every hard strat with VERY few mistakes is such a credit to the runner. Ggs man. Truly a masterpiece run.
Does anybody know how he starts out with the 21 wings already in his inventory like at 8:17? That's very cool!
it using duplication glitch, Which only there on version 1.0.0 game, but the dev fix it with current version

This is basically what most speed runners so. Glitch there way to through the game
the cutscenes exist to contain the power of link's flying/duping rituals
Not that I'd ever be a great speedrunner, but is there a website dedicated to showcasing speedrunning strats? I've tried to imagine the potentially insane amount of researching it would take to conduct a run but I'd like to think there's a resource that makes it drastically less painful.
The process of learning routes and strats isn't hard or painful. speedrun.com/totk is the official leaderboard for this game and you can watch runs on there for reference. Linked on that website is also the BotW speedrunning discord, where there's a great community always willing to help those who may be learning the speedrun.
