And yet another person trying to be in control of another's life and decisions. I don't understand why people want to tell others what they should and shouldn't do! My kids will be fine if I pass. I have autism (I don't need my mom) my mom has autism (she doesn't need her mom) my sister has autism (she also don't need our mom) you see where I'm going with this? You don't how capable special needs people are and honestly other people need to stop putting limits on us thinking or expecting that we always need someone else. And for the ones that do need someone looking after them there is obviously always someone in place for them! My oldest daughter is set in place to take care of my son with down syndrome if ever both her dad and I die (if we die while she's still under 18 I have a cousin set it place and so on) we obviously think ahead when we have special needs children. And just like I said in the video it's not guaranteed that all my children will have autism. And so what if all of them do! My oldest son has it, went through testing, and passed for having the capability of being independent. My oldest daughter is also capable of independence. You clearly are misinformed about autism. In fact many people with autism are independent, highly capable of functioning in the everyday world, and many don't even know they're autistic. Please stop telling others what to do with their life, especially when it comes to their decisions on having children, you wouldn't want anyone telling you what to do with yours!

I really believe there are several people that are autistic in some type of way and just doesn't know it. I think that's why I'm so patient with certain people that's special needs that's plain as day. We call special needs male's God's Angels and the girls God's babies. God doesn't play about special needs people. I wonder if I am. It's certain things I say and do that make me wonder. Your children sound like a group of regular children too me. I don't know what children that don't "run us nuts sometimes" 😅no matter what issues they have or don't have. 😂 you're do it. 👍

You have a right to feel that way and can do as you wish with your children. This is MY child and i'm advocating for my children. He was a baby and I'm spreading awareness on down syndrome. Children are constantly put on the internet day in and day out. My children are not in every video I post. Mother's all over RUclips, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms post pics and videos of their children and they're not even doing it to spread awareness for anything. I think parents should stop being told how to parent by others 🤷

@@kaylasimmons4684 I would imagine alexxerri9619 was referring to Mosaic Down Syndrome when using the acronym mds.

Yes he does have a larger tongue but not as extreme as a lot of cases. He is able to keep his tongue in his mouth whereas some have a harder time with it.

You mean fragile x syndrome? Of course not need to answerbif it's private. Though I thought first it was the older child who had mosaic down syndrome, so I kind of wondered then too if you all had it.

@@teijaflink2226 no I do not have fragile X syndrome. A gene on one of my X chromosomes tripled itself (so I have 2 extra genes within my X chromosome, not an extra chromosome itself). Also my 5th child is the one with down syndrome and my 3rd child has the same gene triplication as me. I don't think I've ever shown my oldest on video.

there are 3 types of DS , I just saw a video of a woman who has 3 kids with DS so they tested her and she has Mosaic Downs and she looks and sounds completely normal she had no idea she had it.

Should any person be avoided from existence because they're special needs? Are you suggesting special needs people should be erased from the world? So all individuals with special needs should not exist due to unkind "normal" people? First off my decision to have children is my decision alone. I am not 100% guaranteed to have all special needs just as much as you are not 100% guaranteed not to. They deserve to be here! ADHD is the most common special need and more than 50% of children have it AND GROW OUT OF IT! Autism is the 2nd most common and just because I carry a gene for it doesn't mean all my kids will. In fact only 1 of my kids has the gene. And down syndrome just happens and is the ONLY one of the 3 that can be determined before birth. My children are wonderful and bring meaning to my life. They also love being alive and have many friends. They are just as normal as any other person! My ADHD kids brains go too fast so it takes just a little longer to grasp info but they do! Not learning at the same pace as others is not a reason to not exist. I will have as many kids as I wish and I will love them and teach them and nurture them and they will live happy fulfilled lives. They are by no means suffering. They are happy children.

You're entitled to your opinion but your opinion is based on ignorance of the truth. Anyone can be, and is, bullied. Isn't the most logical solution to teach others to be kind to others instead of removing disabled people from society? Just because people have disabilities, it does not mean that they suffer. What they are more likely to suffer from is the ableism that comes from telling them they'd be better off not having been born.

When my son was born the doctor did a blood test to check for down syndrome and he had some cells with an extra 21st chromosome and some without an extra 21st chromosome. So the diagnosis was mosaic down syndrome.

When did the doctor get a hint that something is wrong because he doesnt look like he has DS?

I can make a video on typical milestone for children with DS. My son walked at 15 months but most have been known to not walk until age 4 years.

I'm so glad my videos are helping people. I don't post much but I am able to help answer anything anyone has questions about.

Yes. My son with mosaic down syndrome is in the 90th percentile for his height. He is very tall for his age and they measure him on the typical growth chart because he is too tall for the down syndrome growth chart however his weight is too low for the typical growth chart so they measure that on the down syndrome growth chart and his weight is normal according to that. So he's tall and skinny. He will for sure be taller than me when he's older.

@@neddyconstant5816 there's no way of knowing how tall he will be. His dad is 6'0" and since he is already measuring tall I'm sure he will be at least 5'10"
