Braves guy here, Philly isn’t on our level but this series doesn’t say anything about either team yet. Philly could sweep us or ATL could sweep Philly. I’m not getting up or down…I’m just glad the season is in full swing.

The Phillies have a great power-hitting team. Baseball is more than home runs.. The Diamondbacks ran the bases better, played clutch defense, and had moxie when it mattered most. It's a psychological game and the Snakes deserve to go the World Series. Great atmosphere as always Philadelphia. Good Series

1:45 The Braves had health issues the last month of last season. Strider was on the IL and didn’t make any rehab starts but was thrust into a playoff game and stayed in too long, Ozzie got injured again and was done for the season, Acuña was still dealing with lingering effects, and Max Fried was still dealing with the effects of a stomach flu (the guy lost like ten pounds or something). I’m a Braves guy but none of that was the Phillies’ problem because y’all beat who was in front of you. The health issues was a Braves problem. All of this is clarity and context because a healthy Braves squad is very different than what you guys faced in last year’s playoffs. Not trash talking but most Philly fans are wondering what happened and building a narrative that the Braves they saw in the playoffs last year is Braves they will get going forward. Crazy because prior to that, the Braves always got the better of Philly even though the Phillies played us tough on occasion. Objectively, the Braves vs Phillies matches are reverting back to what it was, a tough series where the Braves come out on top because they’re deeper and just wears the Phillies out. The only outlier was last year’s playoffs. You guys will be alright just avoid us.
