I’m not 100% sure since we weren’t allowed to top-up during the CBT, but I agree-it wouldn’t make sense if purchases were restricted to one device. I’ll be testing this out on both PC and my iOS device once the game launches and will update everyone! Unfortunately, I don’t own a PS5, so I’m not sure how integrated their system is with mobile. Haha, I was definitely feeling the frustration towards the end-you can probably hear it in my voice! 😅 My original plan was to cover all the mini-games in one video, but halfway through, I was like, no way, and decided to stick to one of each type. This was recorded in the middle of the night after working on my Infinity Nikki Basics series, so it was quite the marathon! 😂 Definitely wouldn’t recommend doing all mini-games in one sitting. 🙈💕 But I’m so excited for the release-I can’t wait to dive back into Miraland! 🥳

And yes, the mini-games definitely tested my patience too😂. I’d recommend pacing yourself and not tackling them all in one go like I did-it’s much more manageable one at a time🙈. Same here! I’m so excited I couldn’t even sleep last night😭. I think all the outfits are super cute! In Shining Nikki, I loved using fancy dresses for the main screen, but for Infinity Nikki, I actually adore the simpler outfits-they fit so well with the regional vibes and look great during parkour missions! Some of those challenges really pushed me to my limits-I didn’t want to relive them either🥲. I’m hoping that once we’ve completed them, we’ll get the option to sweep them daily instead of fighting them every time😬.

Same here!! I’m so beyond excited for the game! When the CBT ended, I was so sad thinking I’d have to wait forever, but I’m so impressed with how quickly they finished everything and announced the launch. I can’t wait to jump back into Miraland and explore all the things I missed during the CBT😍💕.

I’ve only played Shining Nikki seriously, so my estimates might be a little rough! For UR pavilions (the highest tier), reruns usually happen after about a year or longer. For SSR pavilions (one tier under UR), they typically rerun after 6-10 months. The first rerun is usually in its original event page format, but by the second or third rerun, Paper/Infold often combines them into multi-outfit rerun pavilions where you can choose one outfit to pull for. The mechanics stay the same, and the cost is usually similar too!💕

Me too!! I’m so excited for this immersive version of the Nikki games! I’ve been playing since Love Nikki and started Shining Nikki right from the beginning. I still remember the initial doubts when Paper first announced an open-world Nikki game, but omg they’ve actually done it, and it’s launching today😱😍. It feels surreal-I’m beyond excited!💕

I agree-the hiding Nikki feature is such a great addition!😍 I also love that it’s separate from hiding NPCs, so I can still include them in my photos when I want to. But omg, we need a Momo mode! I’d love to take pictures for Momo or just see more of him in the frame😭😭. Fingers crossed they add something like that in the future!

From what I’ve seen in the CBT, recolors seem to be purely aesthetic for now. I’m not sure if there will eventually be a bonus score for collecting more clothing, like a wardrobe percentage boost. If there is, we might need to pull for recolors too. I think Paper/Infold might introduce a way to “force” us to pull specifically for recolors, but we’ll have to wait and see how they approach it! 😬

I think evolving gacha outfits is only for whales or for people who really love one specific set and only focus on that one! It’s a luxury thing and will cost you a lot of time/money to get it.

@VeliaOwO You're right. For better or for worse, whales are often what keeps games like this one afloat. If they're the only ones who can get the super cool alternate colors, then so be it. I'm still gonna have a lot of fun with this title!

@@crossflux971 honestly not boosting stats is a relief compared to shining Nikki. I felt a lot of pressure to complete recolors just to keep a competitive score. I am a completionist at heart but I think I can handle on just trying to complete sets and only pulling for a recolor if I’m particularly in love with a dress and it was a very special occasion. Most events come back anyways besides collabs so maybe I would just complete the set and think about how worth it the recolor feels during a rerun

@taidog88 Sounds like a good idea. Once you've spent enough time with the base outfit, you could evolve it on a re-run. I'm new to the Nikki series, so I don't know how often that sort of stuff happens.

@@crossflux971 Honestly in past games every event that isnt a collab w another brand (for example the disney events in shining nikki) rerun at least once around a year later sometimes a little more or less so if you ever dont want to or cant complete a set you will almost always get at least one more chance to complete later sometimes even more with events that happen early in the game's lifespan.

@@TheDelikizzz I’m thinking the same especially if recolors dont boost stats. I think I will try to focus on just completing the set and corresponding pull bonuses like the makeup and mono cloak. That will already be a lot but hopefully not any worse than shining Nikki if we keep up with events and dailies. Maybe I’ll go for it if there is a recolor I particularly love or if I’m feeling more completionist during reruns 😆。

Same here-I’d much prefer if we could just pull duplicates instead of having to complete the entire outfit again. 😭 I can already see myself pulling five duplicate earrings just trying to get the dress dup. It’s seriously making me reconsider going for recolors altogether. 😬 Fingers crossed they adjust this feature!

I take my words back. This game is pricey for a dress up game.

So far, it does seem like recolors are aimed at the hardcore completionists! But honestly, the thought of pulling duplicates like five earrings just to get the dress is making me reconsider aiming for full completion. I feel like Infinity Nikki is a bit different from other dress-up games, though-since it’s open-world, there’s so much more to do! I think I’ll be fine without recolors and just focus on enjoying the exploration instead of staring at my wardrobe all the time😅

the recolor is an option but you don't have to do it. you can always wait for the banner to rerun again i guess

Resource management, patience, saving, and planning are all parts of playing a gacha. I honestly find it really rewarding to be able to save real $$ and still get what I want from a banner by having a goal and a plan. People need to not think like a whale that can easily drop hundreds of dollars to get everything without a thought; most players are not whales, after all, so getting everything is impossible. If that fact ruins someone's ability to play the rest of the game, then gacha is not a good genre for them.

The recolor cost does feel disheartening when compared to shining nikki. Now to get a recolor of a single UR event is the about the cost of completing a Double UR Hell event on shining nikki. This is my dream game and I've been following it for years so I still think I will try to complete all outfits but I dont think I can justify getting recolors unless it was a very special occasion. Maybe I will pull for recolors on a rerun but even then gems might be better spent on newer sets. At least the recolors dont seem to improve stats like previous games

I used a 16-core AMD CPU with an RTX 4090 GPU and 256GB of RAM during the CBT-definitely overkill for Infinity Nikki🙈. It wasn’t built specifically for gaming, but I think the official website lists the system requirements, so that might be more helpful to reference! When the game officially launches, I’ll mostly be using a more consumer-level setup with an RTX 4070 and can update you on how it performs. During the CBT, since it was tied to a single device, I didn’t want to risk running it on a different PC💕
