I wanted to try out a new microphone that I got for my phone, and you can hear in the first few shots that it turned out terribly, so I stopped using it after. So I apologize for the scratchy up close whistles at first.

I love christmas at SDC! So pretty and merry!
How is Alec ?
Good job on this video I miss the steam locomotives at silver dollar city
Same, I wish I could go see it everyday.
Does any of these amusement parks have coal fired steam locomotives anymore?????
Very nice where did they get the locomotive s
What up with 14
Are the Fawn and Doe still near SDC? Last time I was there, there was a Fawn and Doe near the tracks next to outlaw run. The conductor wanted to make as much noise as possible so they both stay away from the tracks
504 pulling the old cars looks so iconic!
Nice 😎
Why does silver Dollar city keep putting different whistles on Davenport like it doesn’t even run anymore so what’s the whole point in doing it?
@@paytongauthier6452 Well, it had a little single chime whistle for years but in 2022, a little bit of touch up work was done to the Davenport to make her look more presentable. Mainly a new pilot beam. But some other minor thing including making the whistle plumbing look neater and putting the Chinese 5 chime whistle on it to make it look more proper.
Hey Seth, I'm just wondering if you know why all of the locos that FSDL are 0-4-0s?
@@Mr.WonderfulGaming They were originally built as 0-4-0’s. They are too small to have trailing wheels and there is not enough weight above the pilot (including the pilot beam and cowcatcher) for a pony truck. It would increase the likelihood of the pony trucks derailing.
Kinda sucks they changed the ride after the incidents they had last year. I get it though. I do miss seeing the “wrecked” engine off the side of the rails.
What was changed exactly?
504 and the older cars look so good!
Good to see the older cars still being used.
nice video seth you should make more hows 43 ' asking Trevor"
I love hearing the Lonergan on 504
the old cars certainly look vibrant
Great video 😎
I am surprised that 504 is actually pulling the old set of cars!
Nice to see 504 pulling the older train set again is the newer train set down for repairs? now if engine 43 was running with the older set that would take me back to my one and only time I rode the Frisco Silverdollar city line and if I remember correctly 43 had the exact same style of headlight 504 has now and she had a Santa Fe six chime whistle and of course back then they still only had one crew driving the train I sat in the first row of seats I remember looking through the window seeing the cab of 43 in front of me
The new cars are currently going through semi-annual inspections. The fact that 504 has never pulled the old cars makes this fantastic timing.
@@SirDufferson indeed it does I like the old cars better than the new cars makes it look like a vintage train especially with the white stripe going across the windows
That whistle sounds so good! It's echo is amazing! Also, those wheels were slipping a lot.
That kid holding their plushie up to see the train at 5:42 was so cute! 🥺
whete is this
Great train ,annoying bells America has to have though..
43 looks absolutely gorgeous
Nice railroad .
What gauge is this? I’m a little bit curious.
2ft narrow gauge
@@davidng2336 thank you
I really like the whistle!
Me and the 43 go back to my only visit to Silverdollar city it’s nice to see 43 pull the older coach consist again
Gotta love the Frisco number plate
43 is such a great engine. I hope they use it when I go next.
Another day I miss 43
Gotta love fsdl locomotives doing the 0-4-0 shimmy
504 looks good with wreaths on, 504 is best
小さいアメリカンテンダー機関車ですね〜
43 is such a beast. And I LOVE the old cars.
A classic spot to railfan the FSDL
504 lookls so good! I forgot they put lights on the new passenger cars. I need to go sometime. Also, is it Moonlight Madness?
@@Mr.WonderfulGaming Yes, it started Saturday
Ah yes I remember playing this :) for those wondering it’s a combination of 3Am and Spider
.Excellent shot. Like.
Blowing that whistle knowing he may never blow it again ❤❤
The whistle sounds good
That whistle! 🤩🤩🤩
♥♥♥ music to the ears!
Best. Whistle. Ever! Thank you, Dom!
This train ride was definitely not one for the whistle haters😂 And if you are a whistle hater then you really shouldn’t be riding the train lol
Thank you very much for filming and uploading this Seth. It’s perfect. To all those who don’t know, Dominique is my older brother by three and a half years. We are very close. I consider him to be my best friend. During the trip my brother wanted his family that could make it up front in the first row of the car. So our Dad, my brother’s wife and I sat up in the front row of the first car. She filmed the right side of the car, I filmed the middle and as you see, Seth filmed the left. Seth and my brother’s wife got the best footage for sure. My apologies if anyone hears crying in the video. That is me. It was a very emotional day for me. One with a lot of tears, yet a lot of smiles and laughs. The tears didn’t hit until I got on the train and it really kicked in he was leaving. To work at Silver Dollar City as an engineer on the Frisco Silver Dollar Line was indeed my brother’s dream job ever since he was a child. He wrote a letter to Silver Dollar City when he was around seven years old and stated how his dream job was to run the steam locomotives there on the Frisco Silver Dollar Line as an engineer. My parents kept it because it was so pure. We were born and raised in the Branson area. We grew up with the city itself. Yet Silver Dollar City was always our go-to place as children and as adults. Silver Dollar City was truly like a second home to us. I will say this, you will not find a sweeter man, nor a harder worker than my brother. He puts his entire heart and soul into whatever he does. There were so many times where I seen him visit with children, young adults and older adults between train stops at the station and treated everyone with such love and care. No matter who it was. In relation to the video, the first car of the train here was filled with family and friends of my brother Dominique. The man who operated the engine with Dom, who is Ryan, is like a brother to he and I. So he had family with him in the cab of the locomotive. I will speak for my brother on this and say that we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to be on his last train. It was a truly holy day. Truly blessed by God.
Thank you for clarifying his position in the description. He has told me before on what he’s doing but I couldn’t remember. We’re still gonna have to behave because he works for the state. Lol
This is sad especially how they said it was his dream job
I’m his little brother and it was very sad. I was filming up front and I crying quite a lot during the run. It was very emotional.
Good bye friend
Fantastic video. Thanks for posting this.
