It’s been 13 years in the making, ever since I played this game at 10 years old. I finally went here, in Firenze. The tower, high up, underneath the dome to see the architecture. Played Ezio’s family as I looked out to the life of Firenze and to where this was stated. So beautiful and damn was it nostalgic.

A true "before and after" not only in the AC franchise but in gaming in general. The most defining and important moment in the entire Assassins Creed franchise being the death of ezios family which brought us the song that defined the creed and then this, this intro will aleays make me break in tears.

There’s just something special about the missions before Ezio becomes an Assassin. Up until the mission you deliver the last messages for Giovani the game was honestly pretty wholesome and it lowkey made me wish Ezio’s life never changed and he became a banker like his father.
