I thoroughly appreciate the fact that you didn't put a LED light bar on top. Whenever I bought mine, it came with a LED light bar, that the guy hooked up directly to the battery. I just ended up taking the whole thing off and selling it to my buddy at work for 20 bucks 😂 that's how much I hate light bars. You have a brand new piece of modern technology on a 30-year-old vehicle, it just doesn't look right. Not to offend anyone who does love the light bars. But I'm already coming up with an idea to use 4 original Jeep XJ headlights on top for a light bar. To give it that more vintage style look.

i know this video is old but damn its still inspiring. ive been piecing together an overland build on my XJ. i would love a shower setup but i want to keep my 2nd row seating. all of my 12v, drawers, induction cooking, fridge, and tools/gear is in the back. 0 inches wasted.... i guess i could put the gear in the seat and put in a modded swappable 5Gal jug

This is awesome, thanks for recording and sharing...reminds me of trail rides in MN & WI in the late 70s and early 80s, my dad and his Willy Jeep...he did drag racing and hill climbs :) He worked for owner of USA-1 for awhile,...all fun experiences. Love the soundtrack ❤

I have 94 also and have a rock crawler mod done to it. I love the unit. i go up to the Rockies and across country to Iowa and Wisconsin. Thank you for the inspiration. You have a great 94.

My first car was a 89’ Cherokee limited. Now I have a 2001 Xj 3.5in lifted. Never got stuck, but pulled lots of huge pickups out.. they are just so fun to drive. They’re as skinny on the trail as an ATV, but has 4wd and mine has 18’ clearance. It’s a torque off-road beast!

I love this build but that roof mount for the tent was unnecessarily tall/far from the roof imo

Who made your passenger side intake snorkel? Was it something you modded for the Cherokee? Every other one I’ve seen is on drivers (left) side
