2003 Honda Element Starter - Slow / Weak Crank
Просмотров 26 тыс.9 лет назад
Intermittent and sporadic slow and/or weak crank issues... OEM Mitsuba brand has internal solenoid which likely caused my issue... Mechanic told me to use local warehouse replacement part instead of trying to rebuild.
2003 Honda Element Radio Error Codes
Просмотров 87 тыс.9 лет назад
Supposedly OEM radio code is identified in the glove box... Mine didn't have it... After battery disconnect, couldn't get radio code prompt.. Stuck on CD only... Then Error codes 1-7... Pulled and reinserted #9 fuse in engine compartment fuse box.. Entered radio code... Success!

What a fucking half assed gimmick! I think I'll use this format to make a video on how to add a turbo to a Tesla truck.
I’m getting that weak cranking and slow at time then it will go away for a month then come back
Oh My Gosh I just did it bye myself !! YES!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH
Changed my 2009 starter without taking off the manifold. Many videos showing how to take it off from the bottom. Please check some of them out.
Bro. Short, sweet, and to the point. He'll yeah
Dude you fucking helped me out so much first repair on my own! I have a 2000 dodge Neon ES so it all applies
It can be replaced from underneath without removing the intake manifold.
So why if it’s that simple do mechanics charge $100+ for labor?
The knowledge and procedure every time for each car may not be the same even with the most simple jobs. Just like guns not every gun shoots the same not every bolt is the same.
Leak ah bunch
Worked, held # 1 & 6 at the same time, put key in ignition and turned, turned or radio and an 8 digit serial code appeared. Then Went to the Honda website for radio codes, I needed my Vin number and the serial number i just got, and some personal info and they emailed me my radio code.
The #9 fuse removal and replacement does not work nor does #8 interior fuse removal for a 2003 Honda CR-V. I am on Err 9 and have only one more try before I am locked out. I have the correct code and have used in with success in the past. Any advice?
Call Honda
@@vvskiitlesvv Thanks, I probably should have. Instead, I unhooked and rehooked up my battery again and that worked. They surely don't make it easy to reset.
you dint show how it goes !! on you should at least shown how it was on to begin with tutorial ??
Hello, is that the only sensor or is there another one in the radiator? The problem with my car is that the radiator fan does not work.
the same problem I am having, only the air conditioning fan is working.
@@fun4ustoo did you fix this
Did you fix ur fan?
This is the only coolant sensor that this car has?
Yes it is.
Insall it please
why was the reason he replace the sensor he never said ?
Replaced thermostat and now 2000 neo. Won't start. Help!!!!
will that was simple
After removing the bolts from the manifold, was it difficult to remove? I saw a video on a 2003 CR-V, and he seemed to be having a hard time removing that, and really never showed how he finally got it out...
It's easy. 5 bolts to remove, a few vacuum lines and several body panel clips.
Wow would of found this video 4 days ago lol I wouldn't had taken long to fix my 03' accord thinking it was something else like the immobilizer i bought the car for little money on Craigslist taking the risk for maJor problem. But thank God it wasn't. Bought a used starter, turn on the car! that thing started perfect! 😀🤗👌
Said 2005 on the post
Thanks help me
My 06 crv is having a weak crank and now it cranks a bit and dies, ive had my battery for years now and i was wondering if its a battery or starter problem
The code to my radio with the same exact radio is 3 3 4 3. Hope it helped someone
Nelli Flores is this for a 2003 Honda Element ?
Nelli Flores312 hello is your car h onda element?
HERO
Make sure to get the thermostat from an authorized Dodge parts company. The gaskets on them are white. The ones with black gaskets from places like Autozone and O'Reilly's don't fit correctly.
thanks for the video, had more trouble finding the cups for the sensor than installing the actual thing hahaha
Thanks this way worked for me much easier than disconnecting the battery
What if you don't know your radio code at all? I have a honda element 2006 with this exact same issue
just hit the 1 and 6 radio number plus power button once then I got the serial number with key in ignition, this gave me an 8 digit code then I went online to Honda with the VIN and after submitting it they gave me two codes to try
Look on the glove box (outside of it when it’s open) for a sticker, sometimes it’s in the fuse box.
I press 1 and 6 same as power button, then press different number buttons then beep noise then radio works for 5mins,then you can do this all day
you do not have to take any of the hoses off to change it only gives little more
does this sensor enables the second heating fan?
Did you ever fix this problem?
@@Srt4martno. I ended up replacing the radiator fans.
Thank you!!!
You
thank you and keep going
this was the answer for my issue. dealership kept telling me if the stater cranked a little it was not the starter. After a new battery and a few other bob fixing part replacement. took car to friend. he replaced starter and back on the road and happy.
Thanks very helpful!!
is it possible I put it backwards?, I did it a month ago and now I got the thermostat code and the heater doesn't work properly
Bro what I always do is take a picture of how it was inserted before you changed it I know that doesn't help you now but it will help you in the future I have a horrible memory so it helps me here and at work!!
Make sure the spring goes into the block!
