Your router has to be set to 2.4g not a 5g you’ll have to change it to a 2.4g in your network settings I was having the same problem till I changed it in my network settings once I did that it all hooked up real quick my router is an xfinity XFi

also when your trying to get the cam to scan the barcode,, were you having it scan that one printed in the instructions manual? or the one on the actual app? lol

so you downloaded the app, and it wouldn't register the camera in the app?? whats the name of the actual app you downloaded? for some stupid reason anran has like 4 different apps depending on the type of cameras,, the few i know of are: ANRAN ESEECLOUD ARCCTV CLOUDEDGE now, these are all the Android ones cuz thas what ive got, but im certain they're all the same names on apple so try n download those and try it again see if youve just got the wrong app

Oh man... Sorry for that but I must say that you are not using this meter properly. It is a while now since you have published this video and you have 15K+ views, so it's weird to me that no one commented till now to tell you so. First of all, please read instruction manual on how to use equipment before you use it. It may safe your life. Next, it is not so smart to hold that probes and cables in your hands like that. Very high voltage appears there. 1KV is not a joke. It is smarter to use those crocodile clips if possible, and to keep your hands off a wires while doing a test. And last one note, you are using wrong connection terminals for insulation test. Terminals "L" and "E" are supposed to be used for insulation test, and not "L" and "G" as you are shoved on the video. Please, be aware of all this. Someone may make wrong conclusions based on this video and get in trouble. I wish you all the best.

I don't think you're using it properly, you should see a resistance reading (less than 20 Meg is suspect). It should have a selector for, 500V 200MegOhm. on this setting, testing should show say 80 Meg Ohms. which is OK. Something is wrong! 1 Ohm is short circuit. Correct please before you kill someone!

You should delete your video immediately, you stupid!!! For the insulation test, you use the wrong terminal! You cannot detect any insulation failure with this configuration! To present such a video to possibly unknowing people is dangerous imbecility. To give advice to others without knowing enough oneself is the greatest form of ignorance one can think of!
