Second night was much better. At this point. I'm keeping it 🙂
Use both the foam and the inflatable mats together…it will make your air mattress last longer too and if you get a leak you still have some padding. Have fun stay safe.

Back in the late 70s I did the Oregon 1000 twice. Those were 1000 miles in 2 days. Was on a BMW. Best way to do it. In 1974 I rode back east and saw my pregnant sister in Connecticut. In 1975 I delivered a fully dressed R90/6 to (BMW) Washington D.C. Now I'm an old woman. What can I say but enjoy your motorcycle days.
Sounds like a great set of rides on wonderful motorcycles. Age, the one thing we can't beat.

I toured this house a couple years ago. It's worth a stop.
Have been by it several times. The few times I've gone to the door it was locked. I'll keep trying. Did see the actual ax at the Iowa Historical building in Des Moines years ago. Part of a display about this.
@@aarouswiss I haven't been there yet. I'll stop in next time I ride through. I didn't know it was on public display. The house is pretty wild. I got a genuinely bad feeling when I stepped into the kids room, upstairs. There's a lot to see in the area.

Ya, we wanted to “move on”, it was too much watching the destruction of our little lives! Look for arrowheads on overlooks, anywhere you can sit and have a nice view, that’s where we would do that kinda work! Good luck 🍀
