Chile 2024 Bucket List | Highlights of Patagonia & Santiago
In May of 2024, I checked off a major bucket list item which was going to Patagonia. It was everything I hoped it would be, and more. And since I'd traveled all that way, I tacked on some time to visit the capital city of Santiago. This trip was full of stunning landscapes, magnificent Pumas, vibrant city life, culminating in a stay at an old vineyard.

Pumas in Action

This video is a compilation of short videos I managed to capture in between photographing Pumas in Patagonia. Some parts are a bit shaky as I was handholding a 700mm telephoto lens while trying to video them as they moved & keep them in focus. It's much harder than it looks!
Hotel Casa Real at Viña Santa Rita

It's bunny season! I found this nest in my yard. Most people think they are abandoned because the mother is rarely at the nest. They usually return during the night for a few minutes to feed them. However, I wanted to be sure, left them there (which is what the local wildlife sanctuary recommends), & placed some hay over them. This locations are from the Chilean Patagonia, becuase in Argentina began the "sport hunting season" of pumas, guanacos y foxes, thill august.

You have to vsit Patagonia ends of september until april. The rest of the year too much snow a rain.
My local pumas are actually talking and astral projecting. They are telling us to do stuff.

If my memory serves me right. that is where they sentence the Doctor that worked on JW Booth Injuries after Pres Lincoln assassination . don't know how long he was sentence. Love the Keys, never went to Ft Jefferson though. maybe next time
