When was a kid it was the cheapest gum back in the 70s and tasted like soap, so they used it as a marketing ploy. I laughed when I recognized the face u made is the same face most people make. The gum sells because it is so bad and people have to try it. Imagine if everyone bought 1 pack they would make a fortune. Good gimmick

As somebody who got a jar of the smooth cremeux, i think what I noticed is somehow the Canadian peanut butter doesnt leave your mouth as dry. It also has a less overwhelming upfront taste, and instead a more natural peanut flavor on the back half.

Nice video. You should try panda puffs, leaping leamurs cereal etc. I tried panda puffs and it tastes basically the same as reese's puffs. It is basically just a healthier version. (It is also WAY crunchier but it's nice)

I was scratching my head the first time I saw the Lay's spicy dill pickle. Yes, Miss Vickie's is a Canadian brand and they are a far superior chip to anything on the shelves up here, and especially Lay's. Perhaps it's for the die hard Lay's fans, or people who don't like kettle chips. I'd much rather have the Miss Vickie's, by far. When there's a sale on Miss Vickie's, it's not unusual for the Spicy Dill Pickle to be sold out. I believe some flavours of Miss Vickie's are now in the US but given the differences in taste, they would be slightly, if not significantly, different. Definitely pick up the (Canadian) Miss Vickie's if you ever see them.

Ruffles is the gold standard for All Dressed. Lay's All Dressed was introduced fairly recently, the past year or two. Each company will emphasize a flavour or two so it's not unusual to find a much more bbq-ey flavour in one, and a more vinegary-tangy in another.

I've been slightly salty about never knowing for so long that Kraft peanut butter even existed...until I realized they don't really have Jif in Canada. I have no attachment to Skippy or Peter Pan, but I need my Jif 🤣

Actually Jean Lafoote did have his own cereal back in the early 70's and it was called Jean Lafoote's cinnamon crunch. It was pretty good and they were shaped like mini discs if I remember correctly. The cereal didn't stay on the shelves long, and was eventually replaced by Cap'n Crunch Vanilla Crunch (yeah, vanilla flavored cereal) Good to see that they bought this cereal back, and hopefully it'll stick around for a while

I did a review on these, they were sold out as soon as they hit the shelf when they first came out. I thought they tasted like their gravy, I didn't really like it.

I didn't see the ketchup nuggets, but the BK near me never puts up their posters. I had the butter chicken burger and it wasn't good, I was also put off by the meat glue patty.
