Nice
My dutch "oma" bike has a reverse peddle break. Is an rlectrical motor installable on this type of bike?
Thanks 👍
Brilliant!! Thank you.
The gist of the video is you gotta peddle and use your gears , just like regular bike
hi i own a m600 that lowers the power output under 30% battery left. Is it possible to program the system so it gives full power all the way to lets say 10% left or something like that ?
I have a BBSO2 750w 48v-30 amp dual battery pushing a Trek 4500 26" OEM 44T 8 sp 16/46 freewheel with less than 400 miles. We have a lot of hills and the motor got very hot for a second or two the cranks were spinning with no traction. I hope I didn't damage the motor but once it cooled down I had traction. I ordered a 38T,36T, and Lekkie 28T chainring. The 38T was a big improvement but scared to test on that hill. So I just installed Lekkie 28T using the same 8 sp with the 16/46 freewheel. Any input would be gladly appreciate ?
Use the gear ratio in your favour, unless you're carrying hundreds of kilos of load and riding offroad, engaging the 46T with a 44T chainring would be enough on a 26" wheel ebike. The motor is only cooking because you're using the wrong gear ratio. If your pedals are hard to pedal, the motor is struggling. If it's easy, the motor is alright. Always keep the motor in high revs, like cutting out on revs, that's how you should ride your ebike.

@@Cyberbikesau Thank you for your quick reply! Today I did a test run using the 28 T Lekkie with the 8 sp 16/46 freewheel. This was much better gear ratio for our hills definitely a workout no more ghost pedaling motor warm not hot. I'm crusing up the hills 20 mph in 4 and 5 gear. The two batteries do add weight but, no more range anxiety.
Perfectly true. Think of the motor just like your legs, when u start pedaling on a lower gear, you pedal fast and with little effort, comparing to a higher gear where you pedal much slower and hard... from stand still. Very good explanation, man 👍🙂
Awesome video! Thank you so much! Can i ask what is the name of the lockring tool you are using? And where can you buy it?
can i download firmware ???
we dont provide it because we dont want to be liable for anything, you can simply watch the video and edit your bafang programming as recommended
Great video. One little thing @ 4:53 ; please don't over take on the left of a left turning vehicle. You didn't save any time and risk being pinged for Reg 143.1
you're right, I tried to be quick, but that was dangerous to both of us, especially to me.
Mate, that's just too funny!! Love your new salesperson!!
heheh she is good hey!
Are: Can we get a video of the advantages of the Centauro over other dual suspension e-bikes in its class? Can’t wait to buy mine!
Yes my friend we can make a video about that using AI =)
Do u guys installation this kit if i bring my normal bike ? Wt is the cost of ekit ? And if installation how much?
please send photos of your bike to info@cyberbikes.com for a proper quote of the job to be done
Need easily readable gear indicators in the dark especially during long distance commuting wheh mental fatigue sets in.
Can the nylon gear be replaced without removing the motor from the bike frame?
Nope
I can’t read flash
wrong port, or cable problem or battery is off or your controller is damaged
11:59 if you don't want to be overtaken, why are you riding on the lane lines? Lane positioning is how a cyclist communicates whether they feel safe being overtaken or not. You should command the center of the lane (called the primary position) if you don't want to be overtaken
Please watch the video again. You will see the lights of the car reflecting on the asphalt. That driver was so close to my rear wheel that I thought he would knock me off. So I let him overtake me. However, as a driver of a bigger vehicle, he should, by traffic law, protect smaller vehicles and not endanger them, which was completely opposite of what he did.
@Cyberbikesau Again, you weren't in the center of your lane. You were using your positioning to tell him that he could overtake. Yes, he made a stupid decision to overtake, but you know there are stupid people on the road and yet you did nothing to protect yourself
Hey man how many for converting Normal to ev? Minimum price
It is about AU$2000, including the kit supply and installation, but it depends on the bike you have and the kit to be installed on that bike.
Great production! Love the closed cations. Right on mate
thank you my dear friend =)
Big Pinion Gear Assembly for Bafang HD 1000W MidDrive Motor Material Hi i bought this one but i am not able to install it any advice?
Where can I get a battery connector for a Magicycle deer?
Awesome explanation! I added more weight and extra battery to a blender. Now running (2) 48v-30ah. I know how to shift gears, but my legs got tired. My BBSO2 got very hot while climbing a hill, so I stopped right away and shifted to a bigger sprocket.
i have a bike friday e-assist with a bafang front hub. sometimes the motor just cuts out from level 2-3 and then i have zero power. any advice? thank you.
Paddy pimlet easy money dan hooker easy money charles oliveria not so easy money
I agree , Bro. Nice work You only get 1 chance to do it right the first time! I watched 2 RUclips videos, I am pretty well a professional now!
Indeed
Cool video Mate
thank you Buddy
Excellent video mate.. Simply explained and also in depth. Just because you have a motor doesn't mean you should forget how a bike with gears really works. As someone else said, you don't take off in a car in 4th 5th gear. Does your automatic always stay in D. Your videos are great in explaining all the details on owning an E bike. Thank you. 👍
I agree. The imperial system doesn't make a damn bit of sense and I am born and raised in america.
Now I'm going to need to sell my shift sensor once it arrives lol
Wat country is that accent
have a guess
Hello, I have a question. I recently bought a new Bafang bbs02. I asked my supplier if it was waterproof and she said that riding it in the rain for long periods of time is not recommended. Though, I would love to hear if someone has had experience with riding it in the rain and how the motor responded to it. I will make sure to put tape on the place where the controller is (also what tape do you recommend, ductape?) There is a lot of rain in my country, especially now it is becoming autumn / winter. So I want to be really careful with riding in the rain. If you have any other tip on making it extra waterproof please tell me!
avoid riding in the rain, the motor will fill up with water, recommended to add tape and other sorts of covers but don't let the motor overheat, be creative, also add helicopter tape to the display and remote control then heat that tape with a head gun, it will shrink and wrap around the display and remote control.
Okay I will do that! Thanks for your answer!
80 newton meters is about 59 ft/lb for those of us in the US with old tools
Hey! Does the motor need to touch the bike frame to tighten the bottom bracket? I gave mine a space between the engine and the frame because the format of my frame is pretty strange. Can I leave it that way? Thanks for the video!
Brilliant video one of the best tips on the internet !
EVERY single "problem" you describe is actually a DEFECTIVE engineering problem - NOT a "rider problem"! Substandard engineering on a substandard product is what is going on here, nothing more, nothing less! Let's be honest here, maybe if more of you "influencers" would just be HONEST in your videos, Bafang would fix the issues with their poorly engineered products!
BS, you're having breakdowns because you don't know how to ride your ebike. At the shop, we see Bafangs BBS with over 20,000km on the clock, and they run as smoothly as butter! Bafang could improve the design, but you, Scott, cannot do as well as they can. So stop complaining and start finding solutions like learning how to use that motor or, as I did, giving advice to extend the lifespan of people's motors!
@@Cyberbikesau Nice "story" bro! LMFAO
@@scotty362100do it better
I've watched this video twice now and can't see the difference in brake-clutch vs. gear sensor for uphill shifting. Wouldn't the brake sensor do the exact same thing as the gear sensor, shut off the motor & slow down momentum?
No man you didn't get it. The brake sensor allows you to decide when to turn the motor off when shifting gear while the gear sensor will always turn off the motor when shifting gears. When climbing a hill, justt shift gears un-throttling the bike and using the inertia of the chainring, half a second hand off the throttle and then shifting one gear up! It's quicker than stopping the motor with either brake sensor or gear sensor, but you can't do that when there's a gear sensor installed, only when there's no sensor or a brake sensor installed.
@@Cyberbikesau Ah ah! Okay I gotcha.. so I totally missed that first point haha.. only gotta brake-shift when slowing back down. Thanks!
Lmfao wtf did i just watch. 😂😂😂😂
I've done some settings but am not really feeling the difference ? the program is connected and i write it and disconnect and no difference
its not fit for purpose. i got a refund from aliexpress. .i had the same problem.. always check the offset
So, it seems that if i were to make a single speed bike for the ATV trails, i would be better off with a hub motor? Most of our hills are rolling, not steep, but would it still be too stressful for a bike that i intend to regularly do about 35 mph?
I need a custom AI trained on what happens in your shop to sit in mine and tell me everything that breaks on my BBSHDs.
Where do you get the lights set? Can you send me link pls
@@seanattazilla2702 square.link/u/diExOiOl
Is the BBSHD a stronger build?
EXACTLY what I wanted to know the 4 pin seems like it would handle more power. But one battery I want down the road has a 5 pin. So I'll buy a 4 pin connector to put in it when I wanna buy that spare battery and just go with 4 pin. THANK YOU
I am an American. I have been writing about the relationship between torque, horsepower and rpm for 60+ years. Assholes here (US) who continue to refer to torque as ft-lbs instead of lb-ft continue to annoy me, but I digress. And please don't try to convince me of the virtues of the metric system! As a retired teacher of engineering at the high school (13-17 years) and university level, I can appreciate your frustration concerning the lack of comprehention concerning basic concepts of mechanics. Long ago, I decided that the lack of knowledge among these individuals was not worth getting excited about-let their ignorance be compensated by the thickness of their wallet! My only criticism of your very professional presentation is: Please don't blame Americans for the lack of proficiency within the power/torque/rpm question. Believe me, that topic has been covered by people (like me) for periods exceeding your existence. Still, we Americans prevail in all aspects of mechanical sport, with the possible exception of F-1 and their nose-in-the-air attitude, which we laugh at hardily. At the age of 82, I am in the process of purchasing a new Velomobile from Velomobile World, NL (Netherlands/Romania), and am planning to outfit it with a Bafang mid-drive system to assist me in climbing hills and to get me home if-and-when I run out of "gas"- thus my interest in your channel. Thanks for your insight, I'll certainly keep you in mind when I use my 250 Watt system. Keep up the fight-I Admire your enthusiasm. Dave Gierke
Should you oil or grease the nylon gear's clutch?
You have an electric bike, it seems you didn't lock up? You catch the person then hide his face?? You don't report the thief to the police and giving them a choice like some food restaurant menu and take his order?? And then say: Lock up your bikes people!! Are you on drugs? Any person with any sense would or should lock up their bikes. Talk about pointing out the obvious!!🥱🥱
Where to do you get the torque arm from? Thanks
