After passing all safety and service exams I will start searching for flats and will make a video on that. And for salary and savings also I will make a video seperately. They have provided us hotel for 02 months and 10 days. And training is of 01 month and 23 days

@@neelneel6440 I have scheduled the videos. I explored Hong Kong on my first 10 days and after DOJ my training got extended to more 15 days. So I made use of those 15 days as well.

@@neelneel6440 Hi Neel.. This same thing is happening with many people. For me when my background verification was 100% then after around 04 days I received revert but now people are receiving revert after many days. But they will revert everyone. See u in Cathay City.

Hi Ayush..I carried 4,000 HKD. I am presently undergoing safety training. After completing my whole training I will start searching for flats because in Hong Kong flats get rented very quickly. So when I need to shift then may be 05 days before I will start searching. And after passing service training at last, I will book flat by paying 02 months security deposit, 01 month rent. I will be making a video on flat hunting, rent price and my room tour after shifting.

Hi. I am not carrying any forex card. I carried Hong Kong Dollars from India to use in Hong Kong. And about layovers after starting flying may be company will give us forex card. Not sure.

I carried 4 thousand HKD and that looks enough for me because I am carrying lot of ready to eats and I am not spending money in buying food as its too costly here.

Hi..whatever medicines u have taken in last few months plz declare it before getting tested in cathay city.

In few hotels they have provided toileties.. Jet spray is nowhere in Hong Kong. For toiletries u can get from ur country or can purchase from dispensing machines in the hotel lobby.

@ Hi..I just carried my debit card..u can use any country debit/credit card anywhere in the world but charges will be deducted. Now I have few cards here like- HSBC Atm card(works only with union pay pos machines), Debit card(works on pos machines which accept mastercard i.e., almost everywhere), regular octopus card, staff octopus card, HKID and my Indian Debit Card

Hi..no need to worry. So many I Indians are working here. When u come here then u can connect to airport wifi and do wtsapp calling and then reach hotel and connect to hotel wifi. Next day u will have cathay city tour where u will have to purchase sim card from a departmental store in cathay city itself. U have to set it up and will give u sufficient local calling minutes and internet. So whenever u are out also u will have internet on ur mobile. Check my video for what all I packed. Get ready to eats for whole duration of ur stay in hotel. No document need to be submitted in India. I carried 4000K and thats enough for me. Carry snacks for evening. Also carry a file with atleast 6-7 xerox of passport, 2-3 xerox of visa, birth certificate, covid certificate of all doses. U have to enter airport through eticket. Boarding pass will be issued at checkin counter. Carry a flat sports or running shoes for training without heel. No streax allowed on hair. Always be attentive here and always remember that u came alone here and u have to survive alone only. U can ask for help from collegues and make friends. But don’t get dissappointed in no one helps u. Keep google maps handy but bus and metro routes. And download ‘moovit’ app for prices of bus and metro. U will be getting free transport for training to cathay city. Don’t forget to carry type G charger. They don’t have hand shower in washrooms in whole hong Kong. So u can carry portable jet spray. They don’t provide laundry service in hotels. So carry bar or liquid for it. Carry a durable water bottle to refill it from cathay city because in my hotel they are just providing 620 ml of water per day. Get basic medicines with prescription.

@ Hi.. they will not tell you when to put ur papers down with ur present company. When u went for interview, u would had filled a form and submitted to them where u would had mentioned ur notice period with ur present company. So when they send u Date of travelling & Date of joining, they will give u time to complete ur notice period and will give u approx 4-5 more spare days. So I resigned on the day when I received my Date of travelling and my Date of joining. And I would also like to share few things to u about resignation. In my previous company there were few policies like we cannot take sick leave during notice period and if we have taken then our notice period days will get extended. And one more thing was that we had to resign through mail and also through a portal, both. Otherwise they will extend our notice period. So be very mindful and ask ur managers the whole process. And I have already posted a seperate video on what all to collect from ur company after resigning. Would recommend u to check it out for help.

Hi..basic salary during training is more. 8-9k is during flying exluding house rent allowance. House rent is 6-7k. Staff travel I have not checked yet. When I check I will make a video for that. They don’t tell us anything about staff travel. We have to find ways for almost everything. About flat rent- 2 bhk is approx 15k in Tuen Muen, 16-18k in Tung Chung. Studios are 8-10k, 1 bhk is 10-11k. I am still in training so can’t comment right now if salary is manageable but for a person like me who is not interested in shopping, does not like to eat too much from outside, do not consume alcohol can I think save a huge amount. Because we will be getting layovers very frequently to our home country. And we can bid also for layover in our home country. So this time I will purchase all the things needed from my country. Perks are basic ones only which all airlines give. If there is something different then I will make vlog for that.

Hi..If you want staff octopus card then u have to apply for that through a company app. And u have to purchase that. And it only works on Airport Express bus.
