@BunklesWorld Yes, and the texture of the card feels different too. Like the O-Pee-Chee cards.

I know, those cards have aged well - although most of us looked at them as "junk" when they came out.

They are good looking cards to the eye now. When they first came out, I know "we" were somewhat disappointed. As time passes you have different appreciations I'd say.

Everyone has their "year" of nostalgia for cards in all sports. Mine would be a few years before these, but these are definitely some sharp looking football cards, and a fun rip!

Prizm are definitely fun to break, and I agree on the inserts looking incredible! Trevor Bauer was, and still is a great pitcher - and in my eyes it is a shame he is being blacklisted as he is. I've said it before - he would look great in pinstripes LOL, but seriously, he would be at worst a number 3 pitcher on almost any MLB team.

Crazy to think/see how quick time flies...as I have told many over the years, "Don't blink" as it passes faster than you could think. BTW - Don't blink is also the main lyric to a great song, if ya haven't heard it - take a listen. LOL - I often say because of my travels, I am a city kid, with a lick of country!

It was nice - just wish it was in better shape, but heck - I'll enjoy it as it is also!

Me personally, outside of the 1993 era and soccer cards-being French, Panini made some amazing cards at that time. The UNFP Panini 93 cards were their first soccer cards. That was the era of the great Olympique de Marseille (OM) club, up until 1997. But I stopped collecting. I only got back into it about 4 years ago, right after COVID in my case. It’s true that Panini is something special, but today, I’m not the biggest fan of Panini. I struggle with Prizm, Optic, and base set cards-they lack originality, in my opinion. I also think the back of the cards lacks information. Should there be other brands created in the card hobby? Why not? That said, the cards are still very beautiful, no doubt about it. It’s just that, for me, it’s not the style I’m looking for the most. But clearly, the cards are beautiful.

Thanks for the sub! I can understand the thing with Panini, not my favorite to collect either, but I'll rip almost anything LOL! And I also agree, it makes it hard to trust them re the fake patches, but I will say their inserts look great artistically. With Bauer - I would say any team would be better with him there, shame he has been blacklisted.

@nascarvintage17 Panini makes some nice looking cards in my eyes, but I agree on the backs lacking information. Base cards are meh. Other brands would be interesting, but I have to wonder as far as the contracts already signed - there are some brands out there who cannot use the team names or logos at all, as they are "unlicensed" which might be good looking cards, but a "missing" something.

The 87 Donruss can be a bit up there, mainly because of the rookies in the set. They are definitely fun to rip through - if only for my memories!

It is definitely a blessing to be around to see another day, and maybe...hopefully have a positive impact on a life that needs it! The Jeter was a great card - but I always appreciate all gift packs, as there are none bigger or smaller in my eyes 🙂

@@JoelSpike All I can say is stay strong brother, which it sounds like you are doing! And - making a "little" money, is not a bad thing. Ya just gotta either find "that one" or build up a catalog, just like here on YT.

@BunklesWorld Thing with A.I. music, you can put out a ton of songs. I've made over 300 so far in the last 6 months. I have 3 albums which has sold one or two each on itunes.

Uhyup - '86 was the winner in this one! With the gum, I might be staying away from eating it for a bit, as I recently started on the "Carnivore diet" which I might get more into in future videos - and Gum LOL - is NOT animal sourced. Maybe on a cheat day in the future LOL

These are beautiful cards for sure - the 3d'ish effect is really cool, and the Gold borders just give the cards that little bit more. One of my favorites from this generation!

Hey Nascar Matt! Good to see ya here :-) I will be getting back on filming not only pack openings, but a bunch of other types of content I've been itching to do. Card show - I will definitely do. Card shops...might be a bit tough, as I have not found a single one of much interest (to my eyes at least), but I will keep trying. Maybe as I get more on the road in 2025, that could be a thing - in other locales as well. And - Merry Christmas - and wishes for a happy, healthy and blessed 2025 to you and yours my friend!
