    I stumbled onto your channel looking for clay lasagna. Wow! You are so talented! But this is 5 years ago. Life happens, and I hope all is well with you 🙏, either over the past few years, as well as the present. If so, please continue. That is, if you enjoyed it, of course. By the workmanship and the number of items you created in 2016, it appears as though you did. I have subscribed in anticipation to see if you will pick it up again. Hoping to see you in my feed soon. 💖

    Hi! Ive never worked with/sculpted polymer clay before - so my issue is: When, what, and how do you bake the pieces. Particularly the fish for example. - I see how you shape them - but how are they removed intact from where they are made? And then are you baking them? If so how? This is probably pretty basic for people accustomed to using polymer - but I've stumbled on your videos because I actually LIKE living ponds and aquariums - and RUclips knows I do some crafting and diy.. so ta da! An algorithm that worked in our favor! Except I don't know anything about polymer clay - especially making tiny things that get "moved" onto different surfaces. If you'd prefer to recommend videos from others that you think explain it well - that's equally welcome. Thanks for showing, reading, and helping. You've definitely inspired. ;)

    Girlllllllllllllllllll....... HOW MUCH RESIN DO YOU GO THROUGH?!?!??! I love the detail and the sheer talent. I haven't done too much with resin, but I love that Asian artist who draws koi in resin layer. This reminds me of that only with clay and resin. I think you have created the best koi fish I've seen in clay so far - I love the way you added the texture with the xacto. And I like th variety of fish. I would have gone slightly mad making all those lilypads and greenery things though - hats off to you for the patience! These are lovely. I'm seriously impressed with the amount of resin you use - it's a bit out of range for me right now since I'd like it more for molds than water effect, but this was inspirational!!

    • @wildhareartstudio8812
      @wildhareartstudio8812 7 лет назад

      Today's Special Minis you are too kind! I do go through a lot of resin for sure. I think my next tutorial will have a water effect somehow. I haven't made any tutorials in a while, simply because I have like a BAJILLION half-finished projects, and I refuse to start anything new! That's dedication! Lol! Is there a specific tutorial you would like to see when I return to tutorial-ing? 😊👍🏻

    Hi, I really like your work! It's amazing how meticulous you are creating each of the components. Could I just ask what brand of resin do you use? The ones I use don't dry up clear, it has a slight yellowish tinge to it

    • @wildhareartstudio8812
      @wildhareartstudio8812 7 лет назад

      Sara D it is Amazing Clear Cast Resin. It is a two-part compound and it says: "High Gloss". Resin can be so temperamental. Just be sure to mix 50-50 and don't over mix. It can start to cute too early and get cloudy. I usually mix each small batch approx. 30 seconds per tablespoon. If you feel warmth at all, stop and pour right away. It is a chemical reaction so always be careful :) ....I'll have a tutorial blooper reel one day where it shows all of my mess-ups with resin. Lol!

    • @wildhareartstudio8812
      @wildhareartstudio8812 7 лет назад

      Deborah Spicer the clay would form around the wood ok, but it won't bond, and that will lead to a weak piece. You can create all of the sides and assemble it like a gingerbread house if sculpting it out of a solid block isn't what you want to do.

    • @wildhareartstudio8812
      @wildhareartstudio8812 8 лет назад

      The secret is to just create a cane (using a good portion translucent) with white and green to make the apple insides. Then color the outside with chalk pastels. Cut your cane down the center so that you have two halves and then pre-bake these for like 10 mins. Once they are cooled, you can slice them thin and mix with the deco gel and sand to get that "Pie filling" mixture (add chalks for cinnamon). Voila!
