I greatly enjoyed this storyline! It was fabulous!

This series has been great! The smarmy, ever icky Mr. Collins not getting a happy ending but Tanner! He is such a good big brother. I saw book 4 is about him so I am looking forward to seeing/hearing about his life. He's turned out to be a big sweetheart & his grumbly self remind me of my late big brother Doug.

This was quite the spin on things. How sad about Mrs. Bennet though. I'll have to go find Book 1 since this came up first & some of the thinks they spoke of had to be in that one. Like Wickham. I like the mystery spin for sure!

Unfortunately Darcy's father did not discuss mother-in-law and other in-laws and how they are closely related to Auntie's and cousins in both Manner and behavior

I think it's funny how within the ton a rich mother's wishing their Rich daughter to marry a rich man is suitable but a poor mother wanting to marry her daughter to a rich man is crass such is the way of the Ton

I loved this book so much, I particularly love how romantic Darcy is, I really liked this version of Elizabeth too. I felt like the epilogue came way too soon I wanted to know about Bingly and Jane, Mary's wedding, a little glimpse of Darcy and Elizabeth's engagement with Richard and Georgiana... I just wanted the story to keep going :). Loved the scene with Georgiana giving the assembly and the Bingly sisters a telling off .... she was marvelous ❤

Caroline was sure a piece of work in this one. Anyone else think of the healing ointment like Bag Balm? That is an old remedy for animals that was really good for diaper rash, rashes of all sorts as well as wounds.

I came across JJ's audio books, only recently (can you believe it) I cannot believe I hadn't seen or heard of them before, I am convinced they add to my joy of P&P and are now part of my audio library, Nano's diction to me is perfect, I prefer a women's voice to a man's 😂 for reading romance anyway. I can't get enough of these Novella's ❤

I so loved this book!

I liked this one as well as some others, I have quite a few to go since I only found your channel this week. I think one thing people reading & some writers forget is to pepper stories with actual facts & historical points which can also be verified. I think the "brain shocking" device is the grandfather to electroshock therapy used to this day. From what I have heard from two people is that it is not pleasant at all but effective for their depression for a time.

I really enjoyed this book! It is my favorite Miss Darcy story of all the ones I have heard. I actually teared up with the death scene of her love's friend regardless of the cad he was & laughed when he said, "make him go to the tailor..." That was a great emotional turn. Lydia had a fantastic part in this story too. I was happy for her. Thank you for your stories JJ.

I listen to RUclips audiobooks while I work. I admit that I had to take notes in the beginning to figure out all the characters and who they were related to. Once I had figured that out... I was extremely happy with the story. It was very well crafted. I adore how Elizabeth was set out to be her family's heroine and how fearless she was. I am going to search out another of your books now. Thank you!

This story resonates with anyone who has/had to an endure a toxic narcissistic sociopathic person in their life. The Lying, self-absorbed, blames others for their bad deeds and misfortunes. Ugggh! Wickham The character I most love to hate! Another good one, Jennifer❤

What a great story! Favorite scene? Sooo many. I'm always a fan of those scenes where Col. Fitzwilliam and Georgiana gang up on Darcy and give him a 'kick in the pants' to get going on wooing Elizabeth. All the animal scenes were funny and clever too. Such an amazing gift to see this available already on this platform. Thank you so much for the fun Christmas gift to us all.

Story was good but narration......wow it was just irritating.

Jennifer, thank you so much for this! It’s my favorite ending of all, tied up like a big shiny bow. I knew exactly where your loose pig reference came from, and fully appreciate it from the novel. Also I grew up in a very big city -the outskirts of greater Los Angeles, but we had farm animals, and my siblings showed them at the Los Angeles County Fair every year. I always made a dash for the animal barns first. There was always a litter of tiny pink, squeaking baby pigs. I now live in Southern Oregon - Grants Pass. Very best Christmas and Holiday wishes to you and yours.

Now I’m up to date w/ your library once again Joy you triumph. Never disappoint, bringing Archie & Remmy as the extra (2) characters to interact w/ our hero & his Lady Elizabeth! Those (2) created the most outstanding moments w/ their antics, Remmy’s swim w/ Jamima-to muddling D’s pristine carriage-rolling mud-puddles- knowing would lead to his “fav”, a bath….On the other end of the spectrum Archie; the perfect well behaved pup who lies on “his pillow” as expected so proceeds to carry onward to settle on furniture. He’s obsessed w/ his ball-skids to a Stop to avoid a dip in water-can succeed @ breaking & entering doors to drawers successfully. Now, on my way back-into a re-read/listen 4 2nd run to indulge/absorb/utterly enjoy.
