longtime listener here I enjoy all the topics you guys touch on great show \m/, I like that you guys brought up those remixed Megadeth records circa 2004. At the time Dave did that I believed it was a money grab / power trip (more royalties and production credits) /snub too the ex members especially Ellefson who was suing Dave for 18.5 million . After awhile there were more remixed records available than the originals. And people started charging ridiculous prices on Ebay for those original pressings. The only one that made sense to remix was K.I.M.B. Also* they made a movie about Dairy of a whimpey kid" and the band Löded Diper is hilarious in it! The songs are actually pretty cool too! P.S. hope you dont get the Cannibal Corpse shirt with the giant rotten pecker on the front lol! , that $15 dollar deal sounds great, thanks for sharing that* . Cheers yall \m/

Love the podcast! Keep up the good work! (Verbose) merch comment: absolutely- the artists who make the (art) music should be the ones getting the biggest chunk of the revenue. If it means direct sales thru the artists OWN websites, then do that. As far as 'gatekeeping' I don't do the whole 'name five songs' junk, but 2 examples, one is good: 2 weeks ago, took my daughter to see the Descendents in Orlando. Little mousy girl was there. Her 1st concert ever, her homemade battle vest with Pearl Jam, Nirvana AAAAND... Cannibal Corpse. Loved it. The other day, I was Ina store in Jacksonville. Kid had a Garbage shirt. I remarked that they were a good band. His response? 'They're a band?!? I just liked the shirt. What's their name?' Could have been faking it, but at that point, mockery was deserved.

One year at Wacken, Bolt Thrower chose not to bring any merch because they were disgusted by the price that they were asked to sell stuff. They just told all the fans to place an order online, and even after shipping it would be cheaper than what it would have been at Wacken.

You know how I feel about Ballbreaker as well. I feel like our nostalgia for it brings it up a little higher, but I do feel like it's slightly underrated.

Linkin Park were terrible and it's ok to admit it. Nothing wrong with having an opinion. Mine is, their music was awful. Sad what happened to their singer.

Id recommend Alice in Chains album Dirt. It's heavy and every track is great and everyone knows Man In the Box. It's a great gateway album to someone new to metal. It could lead them to not only different styles of metal but good rock in general
