I think I like this one because it sounds so much mellower...The original has a sense of panic and desperation, but when pitched down there's a strange kind of acceptance toward the end, with maybe some hope for the world to rebuild? Instead of a final cry toward an unfeeling apocalypse, it's something a group of friends leave behind on an old tape recorder before they watch the sun crash down together.
