Beautiful. The essence of this aria is in yearning and vulnerability, and I have hardly ever seen it performed better than this. Brava!

I love the way she looks like Mozart himself. Since the role of Cherubino came from Mozart's own soul (clearly the little dude was a heavenly "cherub" himself, incarnated in human form; how else could he possibly have written all that miraculous music?) I like to think that this is as close as we'll ever get to seeing and hearing the composer sing one of his own arias!😇

Ahh the Marriage of Figaro. Sounds as modern today as it did some two and a half centuries ago. Just melodies and melodies pouring out of the score. Still to date the perfect opera with no dead spots that is funny as hell !

I love Maria Ewing, but not in this role (at least not at this point in her life). The vibrato is quite tight, and her diction is a touch muddy. Flicka is still my favorite Cherubino
