I'm still glad I cancelled my tv licence, and do not fear the jumped up little jobsworths/goons who work at Capita/TVL. Do not fear any of them.

Do they pay a basic wage to these people ? If so,it'd be a great job for easy cash; I'd just fill in every report as "Not in " "Told me to eff off" whilst enjoying a coffee at Costa and not bothering to call on anyone! I'd get the sack in a month or so for not flogging any licences , but I'd have "earned" a few grand for it (or a dozen licence fees) and helped them go bust as well !!

They send me a begging letter every month without fail. Apparently I’ve been the subject of numerous TV licensing investigations over the years however they don’t even know my name. Had one goon visit from a fat women who sounded like an asthmatic pit pony. By the time she’d got her breath back I’d shut the door. Haven’t seen her since but she did look like she was one fart away from a heart attack.

I Just paid a few minutes ago for another year £169.50 despite knowing I will not watch any live tv or use iPlayer. Why? A few years back i had an investigator come round and as i explained to him, I just watch RUclips and Netflix. Seemed a decent guy and he said "its quite common nowadays. I'll just get the paperwork done and we wont bother you again. Sign here and here and I'll be on my way" I done that and 5 minutes after he left, something told me to check. He wrote "watching itv in living room" I had just signed a confession! I always locked the German shepherds in the living room when the door goes. That will teach me to read what I sign. Anyway, to answer my own question, i paid because I want them fraudsters on commission to stay away from my door.

9/10 would have scored you 10/10 if you did not answer the door. No contact, no contract. One of their goons knocked on my door and i was expecting a delivery so i answered it, he asked if i was "Mr.Smith" so i asked him who he was and as soon as he produced his I.D. i simply closed the door. He then put a note through my letter slot saying that they had visited but i was not home !!!
