No problem but to make sure u that the homebutton is damaged when u change screen. Change to the old and test if it still doesnt work. Then buy a new homebutton. Sadly Touch ID will be lost

Yes thats true, i dont have a shop but i work at my desk in my room. And right now i dont do mail in repairs but i may start doing that later. rather i offer repairs to people with broken phones at school for an example, fun fact that phonerepairguru also did that when he was in high school. I get some people from school but right now i buy broken phones from Swedish Tradera known to be as Ebay but just in Sweden and the Nordic countries. then i fix them and sell them for a profit. I always check how much the repair will cost + the phone and chekc if i really can get a profit. Thats a good way to do. I started with 100 bucks and buyed cheaper phones like the iphone 8 and SE 2020. Then i got more money at the time and did the same until it was ready to buy newer phones. Yeah it maybe tough to start a business to repair phones. but i can give u some tips. Have atleast 100 bucks fix cheaper and older phones like i meantioned dont buy risky repairs just regular phones that need screen replacement, battery or any part replacement. check if it is really worth it to buy the phone and fix it for a profit use home tools if you dont have, personaly my dad fixed iphones 2015 and i found his big tool box full of equipment like hot airgun, flux, solderiron, screwdrivers and plastic openers for phones. so i got a little lucky. always watch videos how to repair phones to learn and not to do it on your own when u dont know. If you have a laptop, desktop download 3uTools because its a powerfull system that can fix phones hardware and many other good things. And if you want to start making videos on youtube do it when u have time not when u cant and i highly suggest to start with tiktok wbecause u can catch viwers instantly which i didnt do. @@phonerepair09 Thanks for the answer. What i started doing since april is phone flipping so just buying working phones cheap and selling them at market value. I buy and sell on Carousell which is the local equivalent of Facebook Marketplace/Ebay for Hong Kong and some other asian countries. I have expanded to buying broken phones. Right now i am waiting for an iPhone 11 which i replaced the screen to sell, an iPhone Xr which has broken back glass which i will replace the whole housing when the replacement part arrives and an iPhone 11 pro which needs a screen replacement. I have never thought of offering repair to people in my school. Kinda risky as i worry on breaking someone's elses phone especially when its an iPhone 13 pro max or a new iPhone. What would you do if you accidentally broke someone's phone? Do you only offer repairs to classmates you know or anyone you see at your school with a broken phone? Also do you have parts in stock or do you just tell people in your shcool and your classmates that you can help them fix them fix their phone but have to wait a week for the part to arrive? Yeah 3utools is very useful to see if other components are replaced. One thing i have noticed with the iPhone 11 which i replaced the screen and have listed is that I have trouble selling it, i has been listed more than a week ago. I suspect it is because of the "unknown part" message in settings. This affects iPhone Xr or later i think for batteries, screens and even cameras for the iPhone 12 and up. How do you sell phones with these "unknown part" message? It seems to depreciate value immensely and people just lowball so much. Also what supplier do you use for replacement iPhone parts? I have purchased from a couple and the quality of aftermarket parts varies a lot, some are good and some are terrible(especially for screen quality).
