Me today when i realized how amazing it is that i revoked the privilege of my mother getting to see me get married and have more children and getting to see me become a fire fighter . She saw my first born be born and she will never get to see that miracle again . Ive had 2 more and she will never get to meet them. I think we feel this so so much when our kids are little bitty and need every minute of our attention all day. It’s hard and exhausting. Once my kids got just a little older…. Everything was fine. I rest, they rest, we all get a bit of peace during the day. I’m with them all day as a home school mom but they spend time doing other things. Don’t feel guilty. But remember to pour into them when you can!
