You’ll get tired of hearing foam after months of using a keyboard, I was using a fully foamed keyboard for half a year and I cannot remove the foam on my keyboard because the fucking hex screws are stripped so I needed to buy a new one.

well, there will be a time you wont wanna hear the whole board anymore but the switch itself. so to hear the switch in its full glory you have to remove all the dampeners aka foams. it is not entirely clacky, it just depends on what switch you are using. ex. oil king on a foamless build is quite thoccy but not thoccy enough compared to full foamed up builds you are used to. you will kinda understand this once u build more keebs, and wanna try out more exciting switches. but ofc keyboard sound profile is still important, so choose a keyboard that you like that has the sound profile with your preference

Thank you so much for the suggestion, I will look into that. I'm mainly a keyboard "RUclipsr" first before an ASMRtist so I'm a bit hesitant on doing videos that long but it's definitely an interesting proposition

PCB flex cuts are taped I'll tape mod the plate cuts next but how do I get an aluminum plate?

@@3Dvhperx there were no issues with the board except for the extremely tight screws that were borderline striped when I tried to remove them for the first time. After that tho they were fine cuz I didn't screw them back as tightly - they're just not high quality screws I guess but my friend also got this and didn't have any issues in his unit. And yes it did come with 2x KTT Coconut Latte switches pre-installed, all Lucky65s do

@@TealCrit I have other videos/shorts with GMK Cyrillic that should give you an idea of how Cherry Profile sounds on this. I personally prefer that as well

Try to connect the 2.4G dongle to an extension for the receiver of those that come for example in the mice and connect the extension with the 2.4G dongle to the pc, that worked for me

@@Typerist the build quality is the best amongst all readily available aluminum keyboards and I've built 5 Luckys till now and none of them had any imperfections. Only a purple had a slight misalignment on the "G" key on the plate, it was a bit more higher than the rest of the row. Otherwise the screws on this board are pretty dang tight so you gotta be careful opening it the first time but from then on it's easy enough.

Nope this is stock config, I got this board off AliExpress where there's no option for add-ons unfortunately. I did try this build with the PE Foam and PET sheet removed and it just sounded too thin

⁠@@sainteagle4426 maybe u can find some aftermarket alu or fr4 plate, some ppl said that stiff plates can remove the thin sound, did u also try taping the pcb flex cuts?
