Just got this guitar and it’s the best looking and best sounding guitar I’ve ever played. The satin finish makes it look and feel premium and the appointments are incredible. This one will stay with me for the rest of my life.

My '43 was stolen in '65 and refinished at Martin.

Do you have any idea what year that one is? I’m very interested. Trying to avoid the dreaded Martin body binding issues.

I still do not understand why this instrument is known as 0000. Is it the width of the lower bout dimensions ,or the thicknesses of the back and sides. Or is it strictly a cf martin thing.

Not saying you are a bad player, at all. But when you play play a G on the 6th string, can't you hear the extreme fret buzz, on all your videos? Couple helpful suggestions. Either place you finger closer to the fret or don't snap the string so hard with that powerful thumb you have. Just some helpful suggestions. Hope you don't take it wrong. Best of luck to you.

Man, this is a stunning guitar. Was in Gruhn's shop last week and played this live. Keep thinking about it. Something special about the Mahogany back and sides vs. Rosewood. Considering selling my D-18 to get it.

There's the 'bong' of an over-light string in there I think, so it might be good to go up a guage... And I wonder how it would be with Retro Monel metal strings. Just my taste, maybe

Well, that sounds amazing. Hard to beat a Goodall, you can spend a lot more (like some on your website) and not beat the Goodall. I have a 1990 Rosewood Standard so I’m a big fan. Nice demo👍🏻

Thanks. I love mine. It's that vibey Martin sound. Yesterday I replaced the plastic bridge pins and bone saddle pieces with brass for both. Result... EVEN BETTER... particularly in bass response. The saddle piece needed thinning down from 2.7mm to 2.5mm.... carefully. But I'm even more pleased. It's a 2006 with V neck which for some reason makes for better fingering (fewer strings dampened unintentionally. Get one if you can.

I have to say after listening to comparisons over the last few years, Drew Heinonen guitars are so similar to Olson's with sound. This one is pretty incredible and beautiful.
