I have the single but no turntable (it stopped working) so can't now record it for upload.

I have 'Darkness' but my copy is a bit crackly, although maybe not scratched. I'll see if it's decent enough to upload. I'm hoping that someone, maybe from the Cherry Red labels, might release some Stranger Than Fiction recordings at some point. 'Immortal In Mirrors' by STF was released in reasonable mp3 quality on an Ultimate Hard Rock compilation, obviously an error by those who put the compilation together, but a very welcome mistake. I'd love to hear more tracks from this band. I saw them a few times in Wakefield and they were the very first band I saw live, supporting Punishment of Luxury at Unity Hall, Wakefield.

​@@sdcross34 I'm a Wakey lad. Stranger then Fiction were the first band I saw live supporting Bauhaus and Magazine at Unity. I later became a friend of Steve Kennet's when we did Art & Design Foundation together at Wakefield District College. I just got Richard Jobson's "Into the Void" for Christmas (though it only arrived here in France today). And I wondered if there was any connection, since Bill Nelson knew Steve and brought Jobson to Wakefield when he produced Days in Europa. I had all StF's recorded work on vinyl, but got rid of it all in the nineties. Wish I hadn't.

These 3 tracks are from a bootleg and not from an official release. I'm not aware that the show was released officially, and I don't think these 3 tracks received an official release in any format. I've also got a cassette box labelled as JB&TBW live from another venue but sadly the cassette is missing. I think it was a soundboard recording.

Here's hoping you find it again, or someone else posts it sometime as it would be great to hear a good recording of some of these tracks. Can't see Jake ever revisiting this stuff which is a pity as the songs were of a consistently high quality. Even the b sides to the 3 singles were good enough to have been a sides! (in my opinion of course)
