GSE Exhaust - Polaris Sportsman 570
Just installed the GSE Performance Trail Tamer exhaust on my 2018 Sportsman 570 and all I can say is that I love it. I have gotten many comments from guys I ride with saying how good it sounds. The exhaust gives the bike a very mean, deep, throaty sound. Not only does it make the bike sound better, but there is also a noticeable power gain throughout the entire power ban. The power seems much smoother as well. Long story short, I would definitely go and pick up a GSE exhaust for your sportsman. You will not regret it. THE VIDEO DOES NOT DO THE SOUND JUSTICE.

Figured I would take the stock pipe off just to see how loud the bike is with no muffler and as expected, it was deafening. As usual the camera did not do the sound justice. It was much louder in person and sounded absolutely terrible hahaha. Since there is no back pressure with the muffler removed the bike was very sluggish and slow to respond when given throttle. I definitely would not recomm...

Does it sound tinny in person or is that the camera ?
You know if this will fit 23 sportman?
If I just leave the muffler off and don’t put any other different exhaust on it would it damage the engine or anything like that???

Running the same pipe and filter on my 570 trail lucky fer me gse performance is 20 mins up the road from me there good people with quality service and parts.
How did u take off the muffler i can’t get the nuts to more at all
Might have to spray some rust buster type spray on them. Mine were fairly easy though because the fourwheeler isn’t very old

Absolutely love it! I’ve ridden it very hard and had no issues out of it, very impressed! No tuner was needed!

I run same exhaust on my 2020 570. Putting a dynojet version 3 with rvs stage 2 tune on tonight!!
Did the tune make a difference?
Does it sound more like a 850/1000 or does it sound like a racing atv? In your opinion.

Those tires look pretty aggressive. Do they shake the quad when you ride o the trails? It looked a little shaky at some parts but I couldn't tell if it was really rough terrain.
No, they ride very smooth! Only negative is that they’re very heavy

I have a question I just got this exhaust and now when I’m in mud and I spin and let off the gas sometimes it shuts of or almost stalls out, do you no anything about this
Mines stalled a couple times, but it’s never after spinning real hard. Mine will occasionally stall if I’m lightly feathering the throttle while trying to turn around in tight places or other similar situations. It did it with the stock exhaust too though.

It ran very different, huge loss of power due to lack of back pressure. Never stalled on me, but I only rode it around with it like that for a few minutes. I can definitely see it stalling easily though, I wouldn’t take it in water like that.
Nice looking quad, hope it lasts. I like the AWD, battery placement is too low.
Yea I’m not a fan at all of the battery location. I need to buy the relocate kit for it that puts it somewhere up under the back fender

I have a 2018 570 and there is a like a clunking noise coming from the engine it’s feels the same on power does anyone know if this is normal?
Definitely not normal, I’d have to hear it to tell ya what it is though!
Man, it's known as the Polaris knock, my scrambler 500 has done this since a bought it new, dealer say's they all do it, you may have other problems thou !

Any performance difference? Besides sounding good does it feel like it has more power? I was told you need a tuner with any exhaust and filter upgrades not sure how true that is. Don't want my new 2020 running to lean a little nervous about a pipe. Thanks. Good video BTW!
It definitely feels like there’s some extra get up and go once the pipe is on. I was skeptical of not having a tuner as well but they specifically say on the website that not tuner is needed so I figured I’d give it a shot and so far so good!
@@collindtv6891 yeah I called them and they said no tuner required. There pipes have sufficient back pressure unlike other pipes that are just pretty much a straight pipe.
@@jonreynolds2574 idk if this helps any but i have one on my highlifter and i’ve had it on for abt a year and it hasn’t seemed like it needed a tune in my opinion it runs better

I definitely wouldn’t say it’s good for it by any means, you lose nearly all back pressure.

Low to mid 60’s, never actually held it down till it couldn’t go anymore though.
Collin D TV ok, I’m thinking about getting the 450 but I would get the 570 if I had the money
I’ve got two buddies with the 450 and they have no problem keeping up. I’d do some solid searching on Facebook market place. I found mine on there with 13 miles on it, it had never seen the dirt, some old man bought it and didn’t ride it once so he returned it so I got it brand new for the price of a used one. I’d look for a deal like that.

Did you need a programmer your the exhaust mod?
No sir! That’s one of the main reasons I got this one, didn’t feel like fooling with a tuner.

Did it need wheel spacers on the front for clearance to fit those tires? I just bought a 2020 570 EPS. Great machine really having a blast with it. Now I'm looking to upgrade the tires. The stock tires only clear the steering linkage by about an inch.
Nope, no spacers needed on mine! My rims might give it a little bit of extra offset compared to stock rims though.
pretty sure pro armor is polaris brand or something cause its in the parts and accessories catalog.
