No, it's not cut before the seeds are fully ripe. And no, a stand wouldn't be left for next year's seed. It was brought in to an open-walled barn and stacked so it could dry out and then was shipped. The fields would be plowed under and prepped for next year's planting. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video!
This was a great video. After watching I realized I needed to harvest mine right away because I may have left it for too long. May end up all crooks by now!
