This is the fastest way get into a lock without specialty tools. This works on most doorknobs too.
While the lock is damaged, it's normally faster and less expensive than calling a locksmith.
You don't need a powerful drill or quality drillbits, and it's quick!
Use a 1/4" drillbit to Drill the large holes, and 1/8" to punch out the screws.

Samsung Washer Dirt / Mold Fix
Просмотров 107 тыс.4 года назад
How to completely fix a moldy Samsung washer. Once you know how to get inside of it you're just a little elbow grease from fixing the issue. Start by removing a few standard screws around the top of the machine. It will hinge off from there. The plastic water fill ring will easily pop off, but is easier to unclamp the hoses and remove after the whole drum is out. Use a flat screw driver to pop ...

Samsung washer dirt / mold
Просмотров 166 тыс.6 лет назад
Samsung washing machine dirt, mold, or mildew is a defect. The machine is built in a way that causes mold to grow inside areas that can't be cleaned by the average consumer. This machine is approximately 4 years old and very well cared for. *view my other cleaning video to actually solve the issue. ruclips.net/video/EbQnN4RMWj8/видео.html
Thank you for the video. I'll try it today.
The problem is the agitator plate is an awful design. It’s two plastics plates sandwiched together with a small space in between with no way to separate them. If you let this go too long the build up will fill the entire cavity between the plates and there’s no way to clean it. Basically forces you to buy a new agitator plate and a genuine one is almost $200.
Need to remove the "star" piece in the center too. They hold a lot of gunk under them. 1 7/16" socket, reverse thread. Easy. If you don't clean it you're wasting your time.
Make sure you have somebody watching the property so you don’t have vandals or any other unwanted people in there.
In my experience secondhand stores here in Australia are not interested in old household furniture and items? We have taken so much to the rubbish tip couldn’t even sell anything on line or give it away free. I wish you all the best in your renovation of your house and can’t wait to see the steps along the way. 😊
You guys need wheelbarrows, so many trips to the dumpster.
No one is wearing a mask.😢
Your loss on throwing all that stuff away if you only knew don’t be such a snobby
GARAGE SALE!!!! GARAGE SALE!!!!!!!
This was a high end house at one point
then the house still standing? after the flood in Conway? 💕💕💕 ❤ i hope so ❤
Who is the guy in grey shorts who stands around and does Nothing.???
Pressure washer. Done in five minutes.
Masks are essential. Viels disease from rats. It can kill you, don't mess about.
all I see are Antiques . some one is gonna make a ton of money digging the antiques out of the trash .$$
its s cute . retro . i love the kitchen. so 1940s cuteness
When your grandmother comes home she will be so greatful. A new day she can start. I am certain she was not able to do any thing, can imagine all the people that will come and see her and she will be overjoyed. I cared for my mother and father and never stopped. Would do all the things in the morning noon and night sit down a few minutes cook feed them did dishes cleaned house did laundry on and on tons of company I was exhausted and the next day was the same. I never complained.
It makes me mad that nobody visited grandma and checked in with her before things got out of hand. Grandma must have been suffering from something for her place to get this bad in the first place. Please anyone watching this do better with your elderly loved ones...they deserve the care and attention ❤
I love the kitcen and the cabinets please keep
The cabinets and layout remind me of house I grew up in.
@@keri3862I love them to, there's a lot of character there! This layout just doesn't work, and won't fit modern appliances.
The wood in the kitchen cabinets will be completely ruined by rat faeces and urine, rats are doubly incontinent . Why ruin your health to save a cupboard? Look up vials disease, no messing.
The cabinets are beautiful, they go with the house!
I wish there was a way to preserve them while making the kitchen more functional! The dishwasher faces the living room, and there is no room for a standard modern refrigerator. It's unfortunate that we can't save the cabinets in the process of updating!
Oh….not your grandma….so sad…😢
Why was there no help for her , you loved her enough to take her house , but no help her care for it, …? Was she a mean lady? Just wow…😮
Unfortunately when she passed years ago the home was left alone, and items were added over years. Then it was broken into and the thieves made a real mess. The open door allowed pests and weather in for a time, leading to the amount of work and mess in this video.
Should have checked on grandma before it got this bad 😑
Yes.
Unfortunately when she passed the home was used as storage by family. Then it was broken into and the thieves made a real mess, and the open door allowed pests and weather in for a time.
So sad and frustrating at the same time
Definitely mixed emotions, but at the end it's liberating to be able to walk safely and clean the home up.
please wear masks.....
Great point! All work that will create a lot of dust such as removing carpeting will include respirators.
Im seeing some things that people are gonna comment with things that may hurt to read , all these videos have someone who does... watch some midwest magic cleaning and just do what Mack dos and block the haters... And keep making videos ...
Progress! Glad this isn't falling on just one relative...big effort. Sending you a wish for great outcome!
Thank you! This house has been vacant for over 20 years, and I'm shooting to have it ready to live in less than 2 months. This got us to the point where contractors can walk through it, so it should be pretty quick from here.
Donation, donation, donation and recycle
@@lmbclm4 we recycled some, we donated some, but unfortunately most of the items were in poor condition.
Late to the video. The guy mentioned the washer won't fill up all the way. Why not just unhook the washer hose and manually fill it up and put a cleaning agent in it and let in sit for a few hours??
@@randallrigdon9379 unfortunately it won't let you overfill it. I'm assuming it's a safety from the manufacturer. The solution of cleaning manually seemed to be the fix here.
Good work. Was that you in that painting? No just kiddin'
No relation Haha! It's crazy to think that without names or information it's impossible to say if that portrait is of someone who is 60 or 30 now.
Just looking at the video plenty of opportunity toselling items & Donate. What an absolute waste!
Hard to imagine leaving so much sitting for years! Time, even without use, can be hard on most items.
kitty litter for the paint
Great thought! We have lots of space to let cans dry, but they mostly are at this point.
Wow!!!
Thanks for your input! It's been a load of work, my goal is to get it ready in the next 6 weeks, but with the holidays I'm probably just optimistic.
Seems some could of been donated , there r people out there that could use unwanted furniture
Some items were donated, a few tables and chairs. Unfortunately time and humidity damaged most of the contents.
Don't forget to look in the attic !
Great point! I'm afraid to go up there, but this weekend I'll get the rest of the cleaning finished!
My friend just bought a house similar to this to flip. We spent a LONG time clearing and sorting. Managed a garage sale for the "good" items. Great video, looking forward to more.
I bet it was a lot of work! We spent a few hours off-camera sorting the few items to save, but most of it is so dated or damaged it isn't worth dealing with. The house was broken into before this video, so the burglar stole the good stuff and really made a mess of what was left. Thanks for your reply, I'm hoping to get this home fully renovated quickly.
then the house still standing? after the flood in Conway? 💕💕💕 i hope so ❤❤❤
thats old linoleum not tile id get it tested for asbestos before ripping it out id do a asbestos and lead test in the house before ripping anything out with how old the place looks
I appreciate your input on it! Fortunately most of the house has the original hardwood floors, so we have very minimal flooring we'll need to deal with.
Ho did you freeze the rotating tub to provide resistance in getting the 10mm center-bolt off? When I try to counter-clock remove the bolt, the whole tub turns.
Power washer....done
Just went through this last week. You need to take the outer housing out also as the underside of that star at the bottom will be cracked with crap underneath. I had to pressure wash all the parts. That water helps balance the tub during spinning.
You would be amazed at how quick a pressure washer would have cleaned that wash bowl .. no scrubbing required..and the fisher and paykel is a much better washer to keep clean and so easy to take the tub out .. they just need the suspension replaced every five or so years which is very easy to do and not very expensive to do yourself.
Yeah I have completely disassembled mine and detailed it then reassembled it and run a clean cycle and there’s a bunch of gunk in the bottom at the end. I can’t figure out where it is coming from.
Thank you! I used bleach cleaner to clean tub out, to kill the mold & mildew... I was told by a small appliance technician that it's the fabric softener that clogs and dirtys up your washer & dryer. So now I don't use liquid fabric softener, and use wool balls in dryer now to soften clothes and for less static. After some time, I can see a huge difference! Dirt & grime doesn't stay in washer as bad as before, cause no wax (fabric softener) to hold it in bottom of the inside of the washer & walls anymore....
I have water in the top plastic part of the drum, is that for balance. It will not drain? Should I take that apart? I still have sludge removing the drum and drain line and cleaning!
I have been having the same problem. I will buy a new machine but it will never be Samsung again.
Mine just started! We went to wash and all this black and brown stuff is stuck in the bottom of the washer! Ran the self clean more than three times and still there is dirt at the bottom of the washer! I used a vacuum cleaner to remove the dirt 😢
Best bet to buy new drum... Still comes out cheaper due to this is the biggest wide load residential for a home to buy... And leave the door washer open when not in use to last longer!!!
Because your sellers do not tell the buyers to leave the lid open!!!... Leaving the lid open prevents alot of your issues!!.. and how to use it when they use liquid, powder, pod soaps and fabric softeners!!!
I just can get it off! Am I doing something wrong, mine will not budge and I feel like I'm gonna break it
Anyone know how to clean the filter
