Always a good idea to sim yourself but I think roughly you want mastery until 5400 mastery, then crit. Your stats don't seem too bad though besides maybe a bit high mastery. What's giving you the most trouble?

The full UI is from Thaner (Echo player who streams on twitch). Since his UI package is for his subs I can't share it unfortunately, though I'd recommend checking him out if you are interested. I am raid healing this season and wanted something clean (he's a healer main). If you're interested in specific weakauras my main evoker one is just Affenar's Evoker WA package on wago and I've found it excellent this whole expansion.

Ditto on wowhead guide recommendation. The author (Preheat) also has great video guides on youtube. For your question though, yeah you pyre on 4+ for sure as your spender.

@@mitchyp901 you also what to use both empower abilities at max charges on mobs and the first tick on boss at max charges does more upfront damage and less over time first tick does less upfront damage and more damage over time

Lariat is good while you still have gems on but falls off as you replace them. I think the armguards and shadowflame patch are looking like the two best embellishments. Evoker doesn't really like the Onyx Annulet typically, especially in m+ since it's not very good for AoE.

It's Affenar's Evoker weakaura on wago! I just moved some of his utility spells around but the base is all his I recommend checking it out.

Generally seems so. Always a good idea to sim your own stats but looks like we'll be favoring Mastery/Crit.

It just means we don't need to end the cast early to start a higher priority spell. If your new I wouldn't worry too much about all the nuance between last patch and the current one, and instead just focus on learning the current one. Highly recommend checking out the Evoker wowhead guide for an indepth explanation. Hope you enjoy the class!

way better not having to clip disintegrate

I think it largely feels better. Specifically Arcane Vigor for Shattering Star just makes that spell so much smoother. I personally miss chasing the dragon rage extensions in single target though and never really minded clipping (tho I understand why it was changed)

@Kazombra yeah I never appreciated how cool and aggressive clipping made DR feel. As you say understandable change but will miss the playstyle

Hey man, there is a WONDERFUL wowhead guide, the creator of that guides name is Preheat, he just realized a video a couple days ago about dev in 10.1!

As Kaleb said, Preheat is the man for this his guides are very comprehensive. He writes the wowhead guide and also posts guides on his channel. I would highly recommend checking him out. As I play the new season I'll try to do some smaller guides/commentary on how to maximize dps in specific m+ dungeons, but in terms of rotation/talents definitely check Preheat out he's fantastic.

Yeah for some reason my weakaura has been acting oddly since the patch. It's fine if I open up the WA addon it seems to reload it but it's not updating in real time or something. Apologies for the confusion!

Raid Ability Timeline (it is a WeakAura that requires BigWigs/DBM to function)

I use an addon called OmniCD if you mean the group's kicks, etc. If you mean my personal ones it's a weakaura part of Affenar's Evoker package on wago.

@@kazombra I don't see it in Affernar's package though. I was referencing the one right between your healthbar and the "interupts" box

I can help :D it’s to get more stacks for pyre faster :D most of the time depending on the group of mobs. You need to vary the stacks of pyre you use. In order to increase the stacks you either disintegrate or azure strike. Disintegrate only hits 1-2 mobs and gives u 4 stacks of pyre as the strikes can give u more faster on multiple mobs. @@tarisco614 best rule of thumb I think is strike on 3+ mobs maybe 2 not sure. But some where around there.

tasteless already gave a great answer, but just to confirm I do tend to use it for movement and as the builder at 3+ targets even outside DRage. Since the spec changed in 10.1 probably a bit late on this answer (my apologies, been taking a bit of a break between seasons, but will be active and posting again next week for S2 and have a video coming out later today just to play around with the new talents).

The main evoker set is Affenar's Evoker weakauras which you can find on wago, if that's helpful. The boss ability one is called Raid Ability Timeline.

Yeah the empower spells took me a while getting used to. I was determined to main it in Dragonflight since it was a new ranged class but almost decided against it because of how clunky they felt lol. Glad I stuck with it though they feel totally second nature now!

Apparently somehow got hit by that breath despite visually not being in it lol. Guess the cone is just a bit bigger than the visual? First time I've had that particular issue though.

Nope never Pyre in single target, you want to spend all your essence on disintegrate. You actually don't even Pyre in 2 target. Check out this chart on the wowhead guide from Preheat (need to scroll down) but it tells you by target count and whether you are talented into volatility how many charges you should pyre at: www.wowhead.com/guide/classes/evoker/devastation/rotation-cooldowns-pve-dps

Dev looking good in 10.1 so far. Can change any moment though.

The changes for 10.1 are looking good. With tuning still left to be done though it's impossible to say what will be strong, since all it takes is some numbers tweaks for damage to go way down. I will say the latest build seems like good changes in terms of playstyle.
