The band should’ve been called Kirk Covington and Tribal Tech.

One of my favorite live fusion concerts of all time. Who would have thought Israel in 95 of all places would host the mighty TT... was this a live broadcast? If someone could share how this came about it would be much appreciated.

It NEVER has been a band like this. EVER. every player is his own is unique and brilliant, just phenomenal. and well truly FEROCIOUS. Only one Tribal Tech. Well I'm biased I suppose cos I love them to bits. Particularly Scott Henderson, fuckin' monster player and funny as hell if you ask me.

This popped up on my feed an hour ago. Band always blows me away. Scott has his rightful place in the pantheon of the greats. NOBODY like him. Only player with that much taste and that level of fresh rhythmic phrasing and vocabulary is Scofield IMO. Plenty of mind-blowing players, just, none like those two, at that kind of playing.

Kirk Covington just goes off on the Big Wave. Off the fricken hook. I don't think I've seen anything quite like it. That's right after Gary Willis kills it. Man I'm so lucky to have found these guys. I need a Covington fix. I'm good.

Scott has some serious frets - is his fretboard slightly scalloped?

I'm a guitar player, and I LOVE Henderson. But Gary Willis is a badass - downright scary. I spend as much time watching him as I do Henderson.
