This is sort of the opposite of early reverb efforts where they'd mic Elvis Presley from down the hall in a closet. Next time mic everything up and blend the results with the overall. Too beautiful to have this muddy. In studios they control the amount of "hall reverb", on a separate channel.

I have now spent so long listening to various copies of this wonderful song. My view is that this is the best vocal harmony - especially the two girls. however checkout the Foxes and Fossils version as being the best all round rendition. Also LSB who have a good but not great vocal (blokes cant get the range) but make up with good guitar work In fact some of the worst (live) renditions of this song seem to belong to CSN themselves noit to mention the one from Julie herself with that awlful bloke. Shame when you think she was the subject of the song
