I absolutely LOVE this show, LOVE everything about it, from the writing, the actors and the sets, costumes etc. Nobody does British Historical dramas like we Brits!! This show has a certain warmth about it and I really like the fact that each episode leads on from the previous one's escapades, a rare thing in sictom shows and the fact that each episode is about 50 mins long means that we get more entertainment value. Watching this I often wander if the great Arthur Lowe had been alive, he would have been brilliant as the head of the household, but the late Donald Hewlett was just fantastic in this. And what if Mollie Sugden had played the batty Lady Levendar ???? One thing that always surprises me is how different Jeffery Holland's character is in this show compared to his take on of Spike from Hi-de-Hi, I know that it's an actor's job to take on different characters and roles but at times it does feel like Jeffery Holland had a twin and it's his brother playing James Twelve Trees, it's such a huge departure, and with his hair combed back he does remind me of a young looking Sir Christopher Lee, tall dark & handsome. Every actor was brilliant in this......even ( I say this begrudgingly) Miss Poppy ,the spoilt brat I couldn't stand, but Henry & Mabel were my favourites. It was a great surprise to see Michael Robbins a.k.a Arthur from On The Buses make an apperance as Jame's crooked father. A wonderful show and everyone is on top form, it still makes me laugh today as it did back then and if I've had a bad day at work, it's a great Tonic for Stress Relief.... THANKYOU for the laughs for those involved in this show, some who are still here and for those who have sadly left us, GOD BLESS YOU ALL, In this crazy world we need shows like this 😅

Marcello was a very successful New Zealand pop singer in the 60's went by the name Mr Lee Grant, the teeny boppers went crazy for him but didnt find the same success when he came to England but did do some acting in this great series and various films.

I'm 63 now and I've just re-started watching all these comedy sitcoms from those day (70's, 80, and early 90's). Feeling both sad (young life/days gone😢😢) and happy beacuse I'm really enjoying them and feel as though I'm re-living my youth! 😊😊

I was 'in love' with 'Lucy', l was so sad to know that Katrin died some time ago, so beautiful and so young.

Mr. T, that ol crazy fool Dwight Schultz (Murdock) and the rest age pretty well. But there are other characters that not listed play important part of the A- Team as well.

I always loved 'Watching'. Emma Wray was like a breath of fresh air when the programme first came on and as time went by I couldn't understand why t.v. companies weren't falling over themselves to get Her on air. I miss Her!!
