my socket is a 6 point and the box wrench is a 12 point, therefore the socket was more precise. I used my fingers to loosen the fill bolt. I hope this video helps.

Sunshine rays hitting the garage door sensor prevents the door from closing. I relocated the sensors to a higher level because the sun rays do not hit high level but this modification is very dangerous if you have a small children.

If the knuckle assembly is still attached to the car, the separating tool doesn't fit but once you remove the assembly from the car, a separating tool fits and i was able to separate it.
A set of four sensors for most all rides are now less than $50 and MOST are less than $30. Why bother buying new batteries alone and going to this much trouble. I just bought set of four for a 2015 Chevy Equinox for $21 including shipping/tax. Same sources that you get at local parts stores, mostly from China like the parts stores. Have a set of four in a 2010 Dodge Avenger, five years now, and all still working. WHY bother with this.
yes I agree at that price it is definitely not worth trying to replace the battery.

Yes, you can. battery number CR2450HR 3v
most of the common bathroom silicon is water based and therefore will not mix with a mineral spirits. If you managed to make a very firm soldering points, then just using bathroom silicone should be ok. I had some trouble make a very firm soldering connection, therefore I wanted to create a very stable battery casing by using a more fluid mix of oil based silicone and mineral spirits so that there will be no air bubble.
@@Sungjuleeyes I used a spot welder. maybe you need to sand or scuff the battery before trying to solder it. make sure bathroom silicone is 100% silicone. I used Naphtha it mixed well.
What size are the copper rivets?
Is the point to have the copper touch your skin? Will wearing socks defeat the purpose?
yes the copper has to touch your bear skin. If you wear a socks, it will not work unless the sock is very wet.

sorry it wasn't helpful but my true intent in making this video was to show that if you have a shallow ratchet and a shallow socket, you can unbolt the fill bolt without buying a box wrench because every video on youtube says that you have to use a box wrench.
